    Default Workouts for adrenal fatigue

What workouts would any of the trainers recommend if your recovering from adrenal fatigue. I found out a few weeks ago the reason why not loosing weight and gaining al ot in my middle I have adrenal fatigue! Today did Basic Plus and Step Away the Inches. Felt really good and I wasn't exhausted. Yes i can still get like Tempo 2 and other workouts in but this is a time to rest and heal. The weight is starting to come off. The sugar cravings and junk food cravings are going away! I went back to a book called Tired of being Tired. Teresa has recommended this book in the past. Any suggestion from other tappers would be appreciated also. I really think this condition is under treated in this country big time! Go go go is admired so much, and the more you do and the more you have "oh she has it all" attitude I am really seeing can be counter productive.

WAY to much today. I would suggest MORE (One workout from it... no more) every third day... MAYBE PBS on your off days... and that is it.

I am actually dealing with adrenal fatigue and I second Michelle's recommendations. I have found that I MUST take a day or two completely off between SHORT workouts.

I second Michelle! I had adrenal issues last summer and did only MORE chair for a week or so!

This is a season--you will get back to Tempo 2. My crash was last August, and by this winter I was able to push myself a bit. Even now though, I alternate some "challenge myself" weeks with "back off a bit weeks". You really, really need to listen to your body, because if you wait until you're wiped out, you already have overdone it!

I usually erred on the side of caution, and still do. Also, if your health care provider has you on supplements for your adrenals, STAY WITH THEM!!!

Again, don't fret--I know it's tough! Last summer I was saying to myself, "What's going on? Last summer I was doing Tempos!" Well, later that summer I crashed! I should have been seeing the warning signs!

    HUGS to you!

As a testimony to what these ladies are saying. I had a major crash 2 weeks ago. I was almost in bed. I decided something had to give and decided to just do what I could. For me that was the MORE PBS. I did that for a week. Last week, I decided I wanted to do a little "more" so I decided to try the MORE chair. The first day I couldn't do all the arm movements....but I did the workout 4 days last week and then last night was watching TV and decided to do what I could remember. It felt GOOD! I'm trying to decide what I'm going to workup to this week.

Adrenal Fatigue is rough....and to be honest, I didn't believe that you could t-tapp with it. But I have learned that it really does help!!!!

(((((HUGS))))) I hope it eases for you soon.

Thanks everyone for your answers! I don't have More but I did the Step Away the Inches and i felt very refreshed. Actually i am recovering from the fatigue been about 3 weeks now. But i was bottomed out about 5 weeks ago. Will have to get it this week and the supplements for adrenal fatigue. Another condition sorry to say with my limited insurance the doctors are not so great to even come close to a diagnosis for this one. So many new conditions in this day and age and not many educated medical people to help you unless you pay out of pocket! But thank God for t-tapp and many books on the subject.

See - this is what I love about the T-Tapp community. They always recommend that you listen to your God-given intuition. "Listen to your body."

T-Tapp has everything anyone needs. Even we adrenal-challenged folks - we know deep inside that we need movement and Teresa has provided it even at our level.

I have chronic fatigue, in addition to alot of other health challenges, and I have had to cut back to every other day, and if I do a longer workout, I do only half the reps. I am still losing, although more slowly, but it's better than nothing.

To Michelle just wanted to add that I had not worked out since Tuesday and only for 30 min. I am getting better. Wish I had the More workout in my hands today! Thanks for the recommendations.

How did yall treat the adrenal problem? I am having it right now myself and am trying to scope out any options I can. I am taking some herbs right now as I have them on hand but if I can do anything else to help out I will! I have also changed my diet a bit.
