    Default Questions about Hemp Hearts

I have been having horrible headaches this week and was wondering if the Hemp Hearts could be causing them. I have been eating either the hearts or the bars for a few weeks now and the headaches just started on Monday so I am hoping the headaches are not being caused from them. They really do fill me up and I am eating less. No weight loss, but tomorrow is measurement day and as long as I keep toning I am ok with no weight loss.

Peg - any food can cause headaches, just as any other stimulus! However, in that they just started on Monday one possibility might be environmental. The pollen count is up in most areas of the country due to a warmer spring and more plants blooming at the same time. Many people who never had allergy symptoms before are having them this year.

The easy test - stop eating them, see if the headaches go away, then introduce them slowly after a week or so. If the headaches return, you have the culprit.

Also, look at other foods you may have been ingesting. Other stressers in your life? Job? Personal? Financial? Spine out of alignment? Magnesium deficiency? So many factors for headaches. Eliminating things one at a time may be the easiest way to determine the SOURCE of the problem. Always introduce things ONE AT A TIME to be able to accurately determine which "thing" caused the symptom.

It could be a cleansing reaction since you are eating less and probably healthier.

I couldn't finish eating even one hemp heart because it made me nauseous. I was wondering if it was a protein overdose or something, because I really liked it up to that point.
