PRAYER REQUESTS & ANSWERED PRAYERS

In the time I've been on the forums I have seen many people post Prayer Requests and so many Tappers who are also prayer warriors, respond to those prayer requests.
So, I thought it would be nice to have a place where all the prayer requests could be posted together, so that those of us who pray could have them all in one place to pray over them.

It's also wonderful that when we receive the answers to our prayers, whatever they may be, that we could also share that here, too, and we can rejoice together.

I have a prayer request for a very dear friend whose first born son took his life last October. He was 40.
As you can imagine, she, her DH & family are still grieving so much.
I don't understand this pain as we never had children of our own, but I have had to say farewell to my Father and other close relatives and to my best friend of 30 years.
I would appreciate if very much if you would pray for her. She is one of my dearest web buddies and one of my very best friends for about the past 7 years.
I don't know how long it will take her to rise up from this tremendous grief she is feeling, but I know that the Lord will hear our prayers and help her and her family.

In case anyone wants to know how to change their thread preferences, you go to User CP and then select Edit Options.
You can also click on Quick Links and get to Edit Options from there, too.
There you can choose to see posts displayed newest to oldest, 40 posts per page (or less) and how many days of posts you want displayed.
There are quite a few options to please everyone. I hope this helps.

I will pray for your friend and her family,piglet. I cannot imagine the grief and pain felt by the family of a person who takes their own life. So many unanswered questions and so many "if only I had.....". It would torture your soul. And I am sure you are one part of her answered prayer, as well.

I remember you telling me about your friend when we had dinner together. I will pray for her. I DO know her pain. Jesus is carrying her, even if she does not realize it.

I have prayed too, Piglet.

I have had three friends take their own life. It is a long, long, road for their loved ones to get beyond it...and honestly, I don't know that they EVER do/will. You are right though, "the Lord is near to the brokenhearted".
