    Default Belly fat??

Okay...tell me about this. I'm not talking about mushy, saggy belly fat. I'm talking about a round, firm feeling abdomen after 6 babies. I have sag lower down...but up higher, it's like a balloon.

When I was T-tapping before, I was losing inches to beat the band. My butt was disappearing, as were my thighs...but I could not go down a pants size because of the BELLY. My pants looked like CLOWN PANTS. I do NOT want to do that again. How can I target this FROM THE BEGINNING?

    I've completed Day 4 of BWO+ Instructional 1 bootcamp.

I *am* paying more attention this time around to lifting my ribs and shoulders back...but...what else?

In my case it is my hips that are lagging behind.

Pull belly button to spine, exhale fully before all twisting moves, skin brush and watch what you eat. All are important. Also add in floor work at least once a week.

I agree with Michelle! Make sure your belly button is to your spine, even when you aren't exercising if you can remember. I've also heard that Organs In Place does wonders to help a stomach be flatter!

Okay, I hope Michelle pops back in.....floor work....anything SPECIFICALLY?

I have the OIP/HF/AL ....I don't know if I already own anything else re: floor work.
I was wondering if I should buy MORE...so I can move more slowly and focus on the form, or should I get a floor DVD? HONESTLY....if what I have is plenty, I don't *need* to spend more money right now LOL!

I have the HTF DVD and it helps alot. But it you don't want to spend the money, just practice the OIP move once or twice per day. I found that the OIP move has really helped to lessen my lower tummy, which I have had a problem with all of my life, even when I was thin everywhere else.

Tappin' since middle of January 2010 and loving it!

HTF really does work. I haven't done it many times but when I did-whew!

Polly, I know just what you mean about that belly fat . If you are unable to get another DVD right now, try some of the freebies that are out there...for example, here are some I've copied into a file and use when I can't get to the DVD player.

    Core Busting:
OIP for 20: Starting with OIP, flatten the ab wall as usual by pushing in and up. Keep belly soft while digging and pushing. Tighten after digging. Before starting tucks, TIGHTEN GLUTS as hard as possible. Hold tummy down and tighten gluts throughout tucks.

Elevator Doors: Keep tush in air and keep squeezing gluts. Press elbows into floor. Squeeze knees together and as you squeeze, push elbows into floor. Lift hips as high as possible.

Freight Elevators for 10: Keep tush tight. Lower freight (butt) down, lift it high, squeeze knees and push elbows down, then open only hip width. Keep tush tight!

At end, lower freight to floor, hug knees and rock, go into Half Frogs as usual.

Half Frogs: Make sure you open knees wide and keep tush as tight as you can - it won't be as tight as earlier - but keep tight.

    Lani's Torso Trimmer:
    Awesome Legs
    OIP/HF/elev/freight
    Diva Derrier on one side
    Pretzel Twist on same side
    OIP with 16 tucks
Repeat DD and PT other side
    OIP/HF/elev/freight

    Super Torso Trimmer:
    OIP/HF
HTF Crunch (crunches, cross-overs, elbows to knees)
    OIP
    AL
HTF Straddles (open, flex foot, together point)
    OIP/HF
DD/PT one side, then the other
    OIP
    Ladybug move

Polly, MOST of these moves are in the Try Before You Buy or in the case of some moves in Lani's Super Torso Trimmer, on the HTF or Ladybug DVD.

Let us know what you decide.

    Gwen
