    Default Magnesium Oil

    Hi Ladies,

I know we all love Mag Oil...I have gotten it twice, plus Mag gel, but honestly, it is very pricey for a family of 5

I have found another source of Mag Oil that is quite a bit cheaper - here is the description of it, let me know what you think....

The state-of-the-art magnesium that's got people talking from coast to coast, continent to continent! Magnesium Oil is a super-saturated spray of pure magnesium chloride and water-- nothing added, nothing taken away. It's mined from deep underground at the site of the ancient Zechstein Sea in The Netherlands. Naturopathic expert Dr. Barbara Hendel recommends Magnesium oil for daily use. It's non-greasy and absorbs rapidly leaving little residue and no unpleasant scent. Magnesium Oil consists of a supersaturated solution of magnesium chloride and pure water.

    THANKS!
    Mary Ann

I guess you will have to try it to see if the quality is the same. I'm of the mind "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and I just don't know if any other product will be the same quality as Health-and-Wisdom. It has been my life saver for migraines. Since we now have a small business with no employees, I cannot take a chance that my migraines will start up again. They are very dibilitating and closing our store for a day is simply not an option. Since, I am the only one in our family that soaks with it, and I pretty much know how often to use it, I can make mine stretch pretty far. Do let us know how it works for you.

I would wonder if it is the same/equal dilution. I know Joan's products meet or exceed USP standards.

Contaminants would be something else to question/research, too.

I wonder how one would find out...it does say 100% Magnesium Chloride I think? I wouldn't bother if the savings wasn't significant.

    Take care!

    Mary Ann,

All I know is that I wouldn't change. If it works don't try to fix it. I've had amazing results with the MO from Joan. Sometimes cheap is expensive.

    Hi Eileen,

I have not ordered the Magnesium Oil in quite some time because it is getting too expensive, every winter my husband gets laid off from his job and my hours get cut so I need to save everywhere I can and actually I have found 2 cheaper (in price) sources.

I do think it's funny how everyone is saying cheaper is not always better, because when we first found Joan she was A LOT cheaper than Global Light and some other companies. If the Mag Oil is working for you, and you've had some real issues it has helped, I wouldn't change either. I do not have any specific "issues" just want to make sure that my family and myself are getting the proper levels of Mag to be healthy.

I am going to call these companies to see if they can certify their product.

Thank you for all your help!

    Mary Ann

    Good Morning Mary Ann

I am interested in the product and the savings. It is costing me almost $60 a jug for Magnesium Oil when ordered from Health and Wisdom..And then there is shipping and handling.

    thank you

    Gwend D.
