    Default How are people measuring?

I keep reading things like "I lost six inches in six weeks" and "I lost 23 inches" etc. Makes me wonder, HOW do people measure? Surely that 23 inches can't all be on the waist, can it?!?!? Or is it a combination of a few certain locations on the body? Is there an instruction message here somewhere as to how to do this?

Do you have the Fit and Fabulous Book ?
In there, you have a chart that shows which parts you can measure your body. It's gonna give an Overall result.

This is where I went to measure my results.

BUT some had lost 23 inches on the waist, after a while

    Where to measure:

    Bust--fullest part

    Pecs--just above breast line

ribs--under the bust line (bra band area)

waist--at or slightly above the navel (smallest part, if you have a defined waist)

abs--three inches below the navel in line with the hip pads

hips--tighten buns and measure fullest part of butt

    upper thighs--just below butt check

lower thighs--two inches above knee cap

    calves--at fullest point

upper arms--below deltoid (shoulder) muscle, three to four inches from armpit center

These measuring directions are both in the book and usually also come in the paper work that comes with

    your first video purchase.

Well, they *used* to come with your first purchase. Maybe not anymore?

And Clarity, I *love* your French accent, I can hear it in all your posts!!

I just wish I could speak more than a few words.

Thank goodness, most French can speak enough English for us to get by, LOL!!

..." most French can speak enough English for us to get by..."

Yes I know, I need to elaborate my vocabulary more.. I know
But even if I do, I will continue to use a lot of WONDERFUL in my sentences.

ahahahah you can hear my French accent in my posts? wow... I need to read them to hear too.

So is FRENCH from a French something or you just like French language? (I wonder for the past 6 weeks ahahahahah...)

and for the measurements paper, well I don't recall anything on that (receiving them with the first wo) but maybe.. sorry if I forgot.

I used the book. I did photocopy of the page where Teresa is showing which part and where and I use it for measuring.

Clarity, you do not need to elaborate your vocabulary any more.. You speak beautifully!

We all seem to understand you just fine!

French is my husbands's last name, and not a Frenchman in his genealogy, that I can find, anyway.

But I do love France and everything French. We were there this past fall,

hope to get back there again soon!

And if Teresa no longer includes measurement directions, then maybe she needs to!!

Like I said, maybe she does... I don't recall having that BUT as I had the book and copied the page, I didn't watch too much maybe?

Well France and here, Quebec, not the same thing.
Let just say it's wayyy less exotic

I am sure France is great. It's gonna be one of my destination in 1, 2 years. I want to start practicing for Compostella in 2013 as I'll turn 50. (I typed it, I read it and ooouffff I feel a hot flash coming even if I don't have any of those. my god.. 50. did you see my picture? .. well it doesn't fit. so anyway.. I want to visit Europe in 2 years maybe (part of Europe). France / Espagne, for Compostella the next year.)

That's why to be in better shape and really IN shape inside is important for me. I feel I am "called" to go and do Compostella ! (St-Jacques Compostelle)

Oh.. I know all of you understand me don't worry

I LOVE to Speak and Write in English. Always did and where I'm from they don't even know the difference between yes and no (even in French in fact ahahha.. ) so I have learned by watching The Price is Right, and also Omaha Mutual? . funny hein? !

Was supposed to be borned in Florida, so I think it's in my genes

I am only in my 2nd week of tapping. I received my DVDs and they did come with measuring instructions and a form to log it all. I would never have known w/o it, though.
