    Default inflammation of the foot

I know someone, a 19 year old girl, who broke one of the small bones on the top of her foot a few months ago. She wasn't as careful as she should have been, and altough it's healed, she's in a lot of pain and the doctor told her that she has widespread inflammation. She has to take pain killers in order to get through the day and she can't walk on it at all.
Does anyone have any idea how to help the inflammation go down? She's doing her National Service year and this is really messing things up - apart from the fact that she'd like to be able to use her foot again!
    Thanks
    Sara

Ill bet you she's got some bones out of alignment. I'd check out a good chiro who does feet. My daughter has had similar difficulties and just found a chiro who is making a big difference. He's not sure if her low back is causing the foot problem or the other way around, but he's treating both and she feels SO much better.

I would also suggest systemic enzymes, like Zymessence or Wobenzyme.

I have had two family memebers who recently broke their toes. They never found total relief until they did a comfrey poulitice. Comfrey is cell proliferant and will help the bone regrow more new cells that it needs to heal better.

You can buy dried comfrey leaves in the link you find in my signature. It really, really works. Comfrey is also dubbed "boneknit" and with good reason! It will bring down swellings as well.

You can get 4 oz. of the stuff for fairly cheap and it should be plenty enough but I always buy a pound because it sure comes in handy. Or if you know anyone who grows comfrey in their yard just get it from the plant.

You place some leaves in cheesecloth and wrap it up and tie it, boil some water, then dip the poultice in the boiled water for 1-3 minutes. Take it out and squeeze gently and then when it is no longer too hot but still warm place it on the toe for at least 15 minutes. Do this three times a day and in just a day or two she should be starting to feel much, much better. She can also make a strong tea with the leaves and soak her foot in that water.

Cod Liver oil is a very potent anti-inflammatory. Teresa's alfalfa is also anti-inflammatory.

    Thanks to all.
I've passed on the info to her, and I'll let you know what happens! It just breaks my heart to see her wheeling herself around on a wheel chair!
