    Default Hemp seed bar recipes?

    Hi,

I'm just curious to see if anyone has some great recipes to make hemp seed bars. I love hemp seeds and I know they make great snack bars but can't find a good recipe. I'd love some help.

    Thanks!

well, I melt chocolate then add enough hemp seeds to make a paste and press it in a pan, sprinkle it with chopped dried fruit and let it cool. Then I cut it into bars.

This looks really good. I'd probably add more hemp, reducing some of the

other nuts/seeds. Then maybe drizzle it in chocolate...... LOL!

I received this recipe from my chiropractor for hemp treats.....outstanding!!!

    Mix the following together well:

    5 parts* shelled hemp seeds
3 parts* almond butter (you could substitute peanut butter)
    2 parts* honey
    sea salt to taste

If the mixture is too wet, add a few more hemp seeds to the batch.

Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a cookie sheet.

Place cooke sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes or until solid.

    Remove from freezer and ENJOY!!!

*For the parts, I usually use tablespoons, but you could use any equal measurements.

    Take care,

    Kayla and Andrea,

Great ideas thanks! I buy a hemp seed bagel (6-pack in the HF store) that I really like but I like these ideas of going directly for the seed (skipping the bagel part ;-)
