Welcome to the World Heidi Noelle!!
Heidi made her arrival Friday Nov. 6, 2009 at 9:14 am weighing 5 lb. 14 oz. and 19 inches long.
She was 17 days before her due date, emergency induction after my routine dr. appt. ultrasound found that the amniotic fluid was low and she wasn't making growing progress--turned out the placenta had abrupted 40% and it was a lot more of an emergency than I realized and am glad I didn't know that the condition could be very bad until after we were home and fine.
She's tiny, but nursing like a champ and has excellent muscle tone (they estimated her at 39 weeks even though she was 37 1/2) and that T-Tapp Baby head control which DH thinks is super cool. She's even standing up on her legs like her sister did.
She's got some jaundice (but so did Cady) and she's got the bili light on and needs to get some bloodwork done at the hospital tomorrow for that but all is well.
Cady (my 2 y/o) is the cutest ever with her (so far! I'm waiting for that sibling rivalry and regression..)
