Lymphaedema anyone?
i'm 47 and have primary lymphaedema (onset in October 2005) and am wondering if anyone else out there has this and if you have had much success with t-tapp and if you have any particular tips for success for me a newcomer...did my 3rd "more" workout today.
i also just watched "yes you can"...i was so filled with joy that i almost cried a few times...love you theresa!

I have seen many clients actually drain the lymph-edema right before my eyes, particularly my post -op mastectomy client suffering from lymph-edema in the arm and ankles. She would report actually feeling them drain during class and by the end of a one hour T-Tapp class, her swelling was gone... amazing!

If I were you, I'd throw in body brushing, too. I know my dad's wife had great results with that and the More workout, post chemo. Her professionals had recommended a variation of body brushing using a massage type, at home technique that was almost identical to Teresa's brushing sequence. And besides, your skin with be sexy smooth, LOL!

Do not be confused, I am NOT a trainer just someone who has been around for over 11 years and talks too much!
Hopefully one of the many Certified T-Tapp Trainers will be along shortly, with the most accurate information.

thanks lori!
i started the brushing the same time i started the workout and already my skin feels better!
i have known about dry-brushing for a long time and have never done it...it seemed like such a pain...but typical of theresa she showed in the dvd that came with the crt kit that it is very doable and not a big deal.
i'm also using the brush to go along my jaw line the way anne louise gittleman taught in an article in First and it seems to be making a difference in my turkey-neck.

Lymphatic obstruction is a blockage of the lymph vessels that drain fluid from tissues throughout the body and allow immune cells to travel where they are needed.it refers to swelling that generally occurs in one of your arms or legs.Lymphedema is a notoriously debilitating progressive condition with no known cure.
