    Default New to TTAPP ~ where do I start?

    Hi everyone. I am new to the boards and just getting to know my way around.

    I have not made my first purchase yet. But need to know where to begin.

    I have somewhat low energy due to a med fiasco with my thyroid. I am hypo due to a former cancer in my thyroid and have been diagnosed with cfs and fibromyalgia. I have been fighting all 3 for 10 years and doing well. But my body has put on 40 lbs. I am currently on a 3 week retreat alone in Arizona. Loving every minute. Also doing the Master Cleanse on day 6.

    I need to be pointed in the right direction for where to start. Please use spelled out terms as I am still learning the code.

    MORE. That's what I would do! It was created for those with "more to lose, more candles on the birthday cake, and more health issues". And yet, as you get stronger, it becomes what the trainers call a "clinic in a box" because it has a slower pace and fewer reps so you can really focus on form!

    It has a WONDERFUL instructional, a straight through workout, three shorter workouts (chair, broom and a short step away one), as well as another MORE from My Home to Yours workout that bumps it all up a notch to get you ready for the traditional Basic Workout Plus!

    You have options and variety--the shorter workouts are 10 minutes or less, so on days when you just can't do much time or energy wise, you still have options!

    Welcome to the T-Tapp family

    I would also for SATI (Step Away The Inches). MORE also has a shorter version of it but the full version is fabulous. You won't believe how much energy you will have just walking. Walking the T-Tapp way.

    Thank you CBuffy - the retreat is a long time coming and I am enjoying it fully!

    I am currently on a VERY strict budget. (who isn't right) To spend ANY money on myself right now is almost out of the question...but I need to really hear from you all.

    If you were me would you be able to find workouts with the posted videos to start or would you find the money some how?

    I was putting it on my Christmas list.

    I am a flying solo mom of 3 and lost my job a year ago. I do have a home business but that is paying the bills and moving me toward being debt free. Does not cover ANY extras.

    My retreat... I am house sitting a beautiful home in Phoenix, doing spa treatments in the home. My friends purchased my ticket for me and gave me a food card. When I say I am on a budget...I am so not exagerating.

    BUT here is my one thought...I need to feel better! I need to feel better to get back to work. The doc has had me out on medical disability. My thyroid levels for any who know shot up to 216 and it should be under 4.5. I was in pretty sad shape.

    I am not HUGE in size but do have 40 lbs to lose. My body is athletic historically speaking and responds well...but I have been too fatigued to really do more than walk.

    So...what would you do?

    I know times are tough, but for me, in retrospect, I have saved probably $1500 or more over the past 2 1/2 years just in what I haven't paid my chiropractor that I HAD to see at least every other week! When you look at it that way, it's a GOOD investment!
