    Default Duck Feet

I have the worst case of duck feet you can imagine. I also have saddlebags and knee knocker fat. Is there anything I can do in addition to the Basic Workout Plus that will help me? It is a struggle to simply keep my feet straight while pushing my knees out. Any ideas?

Casey in the T-Tapp office explained to me that the fat pads inside the knees are a result of duck feet. She advised going up stairs focusing on keeping the toes pointing forward and keeping wt off the big toe. I am fortunate to have stairs inside my home, so I can do this all the time without holding anyone up.

Basically anytime you walk, try to monitor your feet to be sure you are not walking like a duck. In the beginning it will feel like you are walking pigeon toed, but you are not.

Just keep working at it. It really just takes the Basics...toes forward whenever you are walking with weight on outside three toes. Piglet was right about the stairs, I think that really helps too. Time and a desire to make the change really works!

like someone on here said once about duck feet, awareness is half the battle!! Just keep at it! I still have to remind myself!

Practrice makes perfect! These ladies are right! Just do the best you can and it will come eventually. One GOOD thing is you are aware of it and can try to catch yourself when the feet tend to go out. Eventually, you will only have to remind yourself once in a while! Good luck and keep us posted!

From one duck footer to another ... it's a hard habit to break. I notice that after I am walking in my house and stop while doing housework and then I look down, yep there they are are, turned out just like a duck. When I sit at my desk at work ... yep ... just like a duck! Like someone else posted, being aware is half the battle! Wow did a light go off when I saw Teresa demonstrate why we have knee fat! I am adding that to my chant of bend it, tuck it, lift it .... no duck feet!

You can do it Yumster! NO MORE DUCK FEET!

Now that you are aware of it, you will be consciously thinking about it most of the time when walking so more than half the battle is done. It takes 30 days to make a habit so you'll be straight walking all the time soon. Then you'll start noticing all the other swarms of ducks all around you.

Ha-ha, Jen! *quack* *quack* We're surrounded! (sorry, we just watched the old Hitchcock movie The Birds)

For a long time I felt like I was walking pigeon-toed just keeping my toes forward. But now I keep 'em straight naturally, so hang in there!

Default Maybe I got something wrong

OK I understand no big toe, but I seem to remember you use BBJ but if you are keeping weight to the last 3 toes how does this work.

Did I misunderstand and it is also no BBJ?

    Default Thanks

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I have actually been worried that maybe I was just "put together wrong" but I guess if I can keep those duck feet straight when I focus on them, it must just be bad habit. I'm going to keep trying...I feel like this makes sense with both the saddlebags and the knee fat. I'll keep you posted!
