Wow....they look a lot like Skechers Shape Ups and MBTS....but are available at K-Mart. I would be interested in hearing what people have to say.

I them on watch on eBay. I usually only buy Skechers because they're about the only athletic shoe that feels good on my feet; great arch support. And with limited mobility, I've been buying the mules so I don't have to ask DH to tie my shoes for me or wriggle around like freaking nut trying to my right foot in a shoe.
But since I started T-Tapp, I can move around better now and I can reach the floor to tie my own shoes, I'm thinking I should get a more supportive shoe now than a slip on. I still would prefer Skechers but their Shape Ups are EXPENSIVE. I did find a very lightly used pair of CardioStrides on eBay that I have on watch plus I can get some Dr Scholl's arch support inserts for my arches, which I don't need when I wear Skechers.
I got my Skechers at a local discount shoe store for $79. They had black and white versions of Metabolize and one with a slip-resistant bottom for workplaces. That was better than the prices I have seen on the internet shoe stores.

Beallsflorida.com has Skeetchers Energy on sale for 29.95 with free shipping. They were not on the shoe sale link on the home page. I found then under the shoe tab, atheletic category where they show all their shoes on sale or not. Lots of sizes available including wide! This won't last long.

Thanks - I just won a very lightly used pair of CardioStrides on eBay for just $50 - including shipping! I am so excited!!! I think with the Hashimoto's and arthritis, I need that extra fat burning cardio edge.

Really and truly? I too need really good arch support. This is one reason why I have shyed away from the Skechers. The insole always looks so flat. I usually look for a high arch area on the insole. I've never tried them on, though. Maybe there's arch support support that's not obvious without trying on?

I guess it depends on how much arch support you need. I had an orthopedic specialist recommend over-the-counter arch support inserts that I used for a while but after I started wearing Skechers, I didn't need the inserts anymore.
Now, I just deviated from Skechers and bought a new pair of supportive sneakers from shoesforcrews.com We got a catalog in the mail from this company and they were having a good sale so I bought a pair of Falcon's. www.shoesforcrews.com/sfc3/index.cfm?changeWebsite=US_en&route=c_store.viewDe tailsOfProduct&partnumber=7107
I'll post back here and let you know how they are. I figured if they're good enough to wear for work every day, they're good enough for me for everyday wear too, plus they look really strong and supportive for my arches and ankles. And they're an excellent price too!
Thanks ks!
Yes, please let me know how they work for you, particularly the arch support. I checked them out and they look pretty nice and the price is good. I like shoes that don't slip and slide, too. Now that may give me more stability when doing T-Tapp, especially the lunges!

I bought the white Therashoe sneakers two weeks ago. It's not that I wouldn't spend money on the pricier versions if I knew they'd work, it's that I've had so many problems with my feet, some self-induced by not buying properly fitted shoes. There's nothing worse than foot pain after wearing shoes that were comfy when you start out, but turn torturous later.
When I worked in retail, on my feet a lot in heels, I too late realized I'd been fitting my shoes to my smaller foot, not the larger one. I developed a bad big toe joint from jamming the toe of my larger foot into the toe of the shoe. It's not a bunion but a bump on top. Once I started shopping for my larger foot I reduced the number of problems but can't reverse the damage already done. And of course, once I found T-Tapp I found that the T-tapp walking technique, NBT and using outer toes to push off was a major help to me.
Anyway, I've worn my Therashoes out and about and have done SATI in them. The big test was the State Fair, with lots of walking and standing on 2 different days. At the fair my legs got tired from the extra workout of the shoes, but my feet stayed absolutely comfy. No rubbing, no pinching, absolutely no stress on that big toe joint and my back didn't spasm as it has done in the past at the fair. Furthermore, I found it nice to be able to get a stretch by alternately leaning one foot back and pulling the toe up while pushing down on the toe of the other foot. Now that I know that the rocker technology works I'd be willing to buy the more expensive ones...if I were convinced they'd be any better.
