    Wink Calorie Burn

    Hello,

I have been tapping for about 6 1/2 weeks. I absolutely LOVE it! I am seeing major improvements in all areas of my body, both inside and out. In addition, I just plain feel better.

I was wondering whether anyone knows (approximately) how many calories the Basic Plus and Total workouts burn. I know I sure feel like I have done something when I'm done. I am just curious. Any information would be helpful.

    Thank you,

    Hopeful

    Hi Laura,

There are several threads with this information that you can search - the search button is in the row at the top. (or check the Must read threads) Of course it is all a general guideline as it would not be the same for everyone.

Thumbs up Heart Rate Monitor - What an invention!!

    Hi Michelle,

Thank you for posting the resources for me concerning the amount of calorie burn while doing T-Tapp. I took the wise advice of several and purchased a heart monitor. I have a wrist monitor, and I went "middle of the road" in terms of price. I am so impressed! It's like a new toy. I used it both last night and this morning, and it really gives meaning to the phrase, "Knowledge is power". The model I have also tells you where you are in terms of working within your target heart rate zone. Once again, the forum has provided good solid advice.

I also wanted to add that I began doing the ab exercises that came with Teresa's book, Fit and Fabulous in 15 minutes. I really like them. Crunches have never been easy for me to do, as I always felt strained in my neck. It is so nice to know a person can still work their abs (and get a good workout) without having to do crunches, though I know Hit the Floor does have a crunch section. I will work up to that!

    Thanks again,
    Hopeful38

I *love* playing with a heart rate monitor. Notice how as you are able to *better* engage your muscles how you can make you heart rate soar!!!! That's one reason one can't compare their calorie burn to anothers, besides, weight, height, sex..........

Do not be confused, I am NOT a trainer just someone who has been around for over 11 years and talks too much!

Hopefully one of the many Certified T-Tapp Trainers will be along shortly, with the most accurate information.
