Question Skin Brushing-new technique, need opinions!

I've been using the T-Tapp brush, alfalfa, mag and the T-tapp technique for skin brushing for almost a year. I have seen improvements in the appearance of my legs. The cellulite is about 1/2 gone. I just tried this wall sit technique-see below link:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jTYI...layer_embedded

to see if this would help. I've been doing it for almost 2 weeks and I think I stumbled on to something! I really try to keep my back flat, chest up and lifted, pelvis tucked, and my legs just like what is shown on you tube video and I sometimes even try to flex my thighs while brushing for a minute. It' not easy but I really think this is really getting my legs back to their old self. I'd love to hear some input on this good and/or bad. Thanks!

This is a lot like what Cheryl and Webra showed us at the Indianapolis workshop. The difference is that they had us use the TTAPP plies. They had us do it against the wall so that we could feel the correct butt tuck. There should be no space between your lower back and the wall. Once you get that butt tuck, you then do your plies with KLT. It is amazing the difference. You then realize that you really were not tucking that butt as far as you thought you were. AM I RIGHT INDIANAPOLIS CLINIC TTAPPERS?

Hey Trisch ---- I know you can probably add to the wisdom we found on that wall.

On the skin brushing, I am wondering if you are standing in TTAPP stance. Teresa shows you on the dvd how to stand and how to work your toes. I have been brushing for a while and still go back to that dvd. For me, just when I thing I have it all, I learn something new that I am not doing.

Yep, Neecy, you got it right! Then they told us to use our legs just above the knees to "push" us back up out of the plies!!! THAT will give you a whole new sensation!

I'll have to go look at the youtube video! And I should revisit the brushing dvd--I borrowed a friend's 2 years ago and still have it! She knows I have it and isn't too worried!

Oh, MAN! I used to do Wall Sits before T-Tapp--my quads are my weakest point, I think! I HATED them! Maybe that means they were what I needed?!

I think I'd rather plie against the wall, buns tucked all the way, ribs lifted, lats set, shoulders back, belly button to spine...oh, yeah--and BREATHE!

hmmmm, gonna have to check that out. I've been brushing everyday for about a year and my skin has improved alot but the skin on my thighs is so saggy, I can't stand it! there's muscle there but I guess there's just a layer of fat on top of it and that makes it look saggy! I'm super self conscious about it. I have been trying to do like a knuckle massage on my thighns when I'm in the shower, read something about it on the Carol Maggio site, she has a dvd for it, it's called no lipo lipo or something like that, I don't even know if I'm doing it right but I thought I would just try the massaging in addition to brushing. I guess I just need to get the fat off!

Blissful, I have the same problem and have also been trying massage de Maggio style, but not sure if I'm having any success. Have you noticed any difference yet? Do you know anyone who's got the DVD (I've been uhming and ahring about getting it as I think my lack of success may be due to not doing it right, but then apart from the marketing videos, I can't find it mentioned anywhere on the net, usually you get people discussing things on various forums but there's nothing on this). Please let me know if you find anything helpful and I'll obviously do the same.

Teresa's brushing sequence is very unique, supporting the lymphatic and energy systems of the body. You can find the DVD and brush combo in the store at https://store.t-tapp.com/products/CR...ush-Combo.html
