    Default Skin Brushing Question

Has anyone noticed their veins being much more visible since brushing? I have no idea if it's related, but brushing is the only thing I've changed in the last couple days. I've always had strong veins which makes some of them rather prominent, but those are mostly in the lower arms. I brushed earlier this afternoon and this evening I'm seeing *really* apparent veins everywhere, but most notably in the upper arms and the front of the shoulders. Just curious if could be related?

Though it was a bit shocking at first glance, I'm not complaining because I've always had an issue with poor circulation to the hands and feet, so anything that might increase the blood flow is a good thing. Just thought I'd throw it out there and see if it's just my body being strange again. lol

I'd bet you are just increasing your circulation. Over time skin brushing is supposed to help "thicken" the skin, so I would suppose that - IMHO - the prominent veins will subside if you keep at it.

Thanks for replying bhnash. Wondering if there's been so little response because I really am the only one or because my thread got moved to this forum? Not sure why that is either, since it's not a success story or an improvement. *Shrugs*

I always use the "New Posts" button so I see everything new since my last visit. Since I visit almost daily, it is so much easier to see new stuff than to go to each forum individually. So I don't think the forum it is in matters that much. It's always odd to me how some posts get kind of lost without an answer or input. Maybe I'm the only one who uses the "New Posts" button

I use the "new posts" too.

It probably was moved due to the topic, with skin brushing being awesome for cellulite

Ya know, I never even noticed that button. lol Which is odd since I use it on almost every other forum I frequent. None of them are vBulletin though, so I'm still familiarizing myself with its peculiarities and link placements. Thanks for pointing it out.

I know I have a few of the forums I frequent daily, and some, like this and the nutrition one, I check a few times a week! Just keep asking! Somebody is bound to get in there and answer!

I can't remember if the veins were more visible, but I do know my skin was more red at first until I got used to it! Not painful and it always went away. But it gives you that great "glow"!

Hi just a thought but my veins seem more prominent during certain times of the month with PMT....could this be the reason?

Winniej, nope, period just ended a week and 1/2 ago, or so. That and it was just for that couple hours after brushing.

armygirlwriting, I know the topic involves skin brushing, but this forum is Success Stories and this sub-forum is for skin improvements. So it just seems odd to move a general question to this area when it's neither of those things. lol Ah well, doesn't really matter as it seems I have my answer: my body is just odd. hehe

    Hey there,

I've been brushing for btwn 2-3 weeks and i too have noticed an increase in spider veins. obviously im not happy with that lol. do i have to exchange cellulite free skin for new visible veins? lol

If someone from T tapp could let me know asap if this is normal or not cause it makes me want to stop brushing. i'm not happy bout that.

*also another question for T tapp staff: because i can't take the alfalfa pills, will the dry brushing still work on my cellulite without taking those pills? i do drink over 100 ounces of water a day.

Thanks for any help i can get.
