Forum Design Scheme
Hey there everyone,
We've been trying a variety of schemes for the forum boards -- as you all have noticed -- but as we said from the start, we would try a couple of looks and see what works.
We also wanted to give you all a chance to give your opinions, and we've appreciated the feedback. Our new forum board has a far more capabilities design-wise and we finally have control it over it ourselves. All of this has added up to some experiments...and changes...some of which worked for you all and some of which different.
I think it's to Teresa's credit that she has wanted to give T-Tappers so much input into the boards which she went to a lot of time and expense to preserve -- she sees the boards as one of her ways of supporting all of you.
Our new web guru has been awesome about trying to meet everyone's requests, but please -- be nice when you ask or comment -- take the positive, high road
In about a week, we'll have a final design that appeals to women and men, don't forget about male T-Tappers!
Thanks for all your feedback!

Hello!
I like the current theme, but think it's a little girly for the guys. Maybe we could change the colors to blue/light blue and purple. Also, the heading with flowers is girly - I like it - but don't know about the guys. Maybe we could try a different header and lose the flowers.
There's my 2 cents.

Truthfully, I don't see many men on the boards and never have. There have been a couple, but they don't post for long. I think it would be better to make the forum appeal to the women because you have so many more women who post and seek out information about this program. Men like weights-it is manly.
so I don't think these boards will ever see tons of men. Just my observations of being on the boards since 2001.

Hi!
I like the current theme, it is rather girly with the flowers - but take away the flowers & it is pretty generic. The only one that I didn't really care for was the dark brown - just over-all too dark, pretty, but dark.
The snow one was really my favorite - non-gender and fun.
I haven't seen any men on the boards, but it wouldn't hurt to help them feel welcome with a neutral background.
Thanks for all the work!
Bridget

I personally feel that Teresa should stick with a logo and color scheme and then not change them... I would think that Teresa's new marketing company has suggested that all her web pages have a consistent look...Consistency is very important when marketing a business. The same colors and logo should be used on all DVD's, products, and newsletters.
The current pink and blue colors on the boards look immature...and the brown and black was hard to read. I really didn't care for the Christmas and New Year themes...the T-Tapp logo just seemed to get lost in all the "cuteness."
I woud love it if Teresa would go back to a recognizable and consistent look for all of her products...

I think this is a very professional and sensible recommendation. I agree that T-Tapp needs to brand their look and capitalize on that. The seasonal themes on the boards are fun, but too often, "cutesy" stuff can give an unprofessional impression. In addition, constant change can lead to the problems we all experienced with not being able to read the "brown and black" forum.

I'd like an apostrophe added please.

This greyish/beige is hard for some reason. I think a white background is easier to read. And now the print size is considerably smaller, and my computer view is on medium already!
I know you'll figure it out! Yeah, the brown was really hard to read, for sure!
