    Default Need Photography Equipment Advice

    I (hopefully) taking a photography trip to Bhutan in November. I've got a digital SLR and a few lenses. The tour leader (a professional photographer) has provided a list of things to bring - some optional, some not. I'm a bit overwhelmed with the list and could use some guidance on prioritizing, brands to get/stay away from, etc. Anyone who can help, please email me at kirsten.tucker@earthlink.net

    Aww, man, are you taking that trip with Steve Razzetti, that I've read about??? Sounds like a fabulous trip!

    Kirsten, do you book these trips with all different companies? Or do you just roam the web, with a plan in mind. How do you decide where to go next? Do you spin a globe? Or have you drawn up a meticulous list that you are working through??? Just curious....

    I can't help you with your camera questions, but maybe a local camera store could??? A *real* camera store, not a Best Buy. That is if Tappers can't help you

    I don't have a real method for trip planning. I want to go just about everywhere, so I find trips that interest me and fit my schedule. If I can make it happen, I do.
