Really odd Nuerological symptoms...
I get these really weird symptoms and I am wondering if anyone might have an idea what they could be related to. I am thinking maybe overstimulation by wifi and computers, etc... Or maybe mercury toxicity from fillings... or could it be related to food allergies, or cleansing? I am doing cleansing off and on right now, and recently learned of food alleries, so just guessing here.
Anyway, to my symptoms... I start off with a sore tongue. It will feel scorched for a few days, and gets worse each day. Then it gets thick and taste is weak due to scorchedness (if that's a word)... then the headache starts. It's not really a headache, but a very uncomfortable set of symptoms of it's own. I will wake up groggy, not wanting to wake up. My head will feel heavy and I can feel my brain inside, mostly the top left portion, and around the eyes. I of course do wake up and get out of bed, because I have to.... As the day progresses, I start feeling flushing either in my ears, or different parts of my head or face. My ears will actually turn bright red. The rest does not change color but will just feel hot internally. The tongue is still sore at this point. My head will feel full, yet the brain feels like it's floating. Also at times I will feel a dull achiness in my face, similar to sinus pressure. Then I start feeling a tingling, like a buzzing, sort of like when you get shocked plugging something in. (Or how it feels when you come inside after being out in the really cold, and you're thawing and tingly and you're still freezing to the touch but you are getting hot at the same time...it's that kind of uncomfortable.). I will feel this off and on, in different places at different times, throughout my head and ears and face. Mostly inside the brain. It's so weird. And unless you've ever felt your brain before, you probably can't imagine what that feels like. I can't explain it any better, but that's what's going on. Then by night time, it will either be better(but not gone) or go into a full blown headache. And the next morning, it will be gone, except the tongue is still sore. So, my tongue has been sore for over a week. And the head symptoms were on Friday.
Does that sound nuerological? This has happened twice this year. This last one was the longest and worst one. It has happened on a smaller scale pretty often, and has been going on for about a year I think. Some of it has been going on for longer, but you get used to things and lose track after awhile... any ideas???

Many of your symptoms, including thick tongue, sound like they may be from detox, I've read a lot of people personal accounts and this is almost always there. You have to cleanse past it for the cleanse to be effective.
The buzzing, foggy, fuzzy, full head, I've had many times, not sure. My DD emailed me recently complaining with this, she finally decided it was a combo of dehydration, stress and lack of *good* sleep, she suffers from night terrors and sleeps poorly, when she doesn't take her Cal/Mag, and she hadn't been......
...could also have some sinus congestion pressure building, maybe a Neti pot cleanse would help.
The hot ears are, I *think* I read is clogged lymph... I get it a lot... From internet research..... also caused by embarrassment, sudden changes in temperature, mild allergic reactions to food or medication, responses to alcohol or caffeine, pregnancy or menopause....... that helps, a lot, LOL I'm going with the lymph clogging, mine is also my left ear, never my right, seems as if it was any of these other issues in would be both ears..... Maybe yours is one of the other issues mentioned..........
Just my thoughts, hopefully others will chime in......

Thanks. I have been doing different types of cleansing off and on, so they probably are related. In the last two months, I have been doing whole body cleansing, parasite cleansing and Colon cleansing plus gallbladder/liver flushing. I am preparing now for my third flush. I hate the prep more than the actual flush. The apple juice with ultra phos, or the malic acid, or both... I get a headache on the days I have to take that stuff.
I do have a lot of clogged lymphs in my neck. My neck swells a lot. So, I guess it all makes sense then. I am glad someone else gets like this and understands, not that I want others to feel this way. But around here, I get treated like I am crazy because people can't understand what I'm trying to say. So, it's nice to know I'm not so odd after all.
Thanks!

Natrfrk,
You might want to check with Joan at Health and Wisdom. I had swollen lymph nodes in my neck as well. She suggested an herbal remedy that helped to clear it up. Also seem to remember you had Vitamin D deficiency last year. Have you had your levels checked recently? If this wasn't you, never mind. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi JustKim, YES! that was me. And no, I haven't been retested. Out of 2 doctors, neither wants to retest.... They both just say to keep taking the supplement. But I stopped because they were causing hives. I do take one now and then. But when I take them every day like they wanted me to, I get hives. I went to my doctor about the hives and he said, they could be from anything. He gave me a remedy and said to come back if they kept up. Then I read online that hives can be a rare side effect of Vit D supplements [:0]. So I stopped them and the hives went away, and when I got back on them, they came back. I think for me it had to do with how much I was taking. So I cut WAY back...but it would be nice to know if my level is normal now...

Natfrk,
You need a new doctor!
Just got re-tested and my levels were lower than ever. He prescribed mega doses, but according to the Vitamin D cure book, you need to have PTH and blood calcium levels tested to rule out other conditions. My doctor said that this time of year, many people experienced low vitamin D levels, due to change of seasons, etc. Also did a quick search on burning tongue. You might want to to a search yourself, some of the causes were B-12 deficiency, GERD, etc. Good luck.

Thanks. I bet it's the b12... I was slightly deficient in that last year. I am supposed to be taking supplements for that too, but I haven't found a B vitamin yet that seems to agree with me.

natrfrk - it sounds like you could have more than one thing going on. I know what brain floating feels like it is hard to describe to someone else, but for me that turned out to be seasonal allergies, claritin helps with that and the ear and facial pain. Some of the other symptoms you have sound like migraines that I also get - the tingling and buzzing. This can happen when the seasons change which could explain why you only get them a couple time a year. I went to physical therapy for all of this and it really helped alot. My pt did ask about tongue pain when I was going but it wasn't an issue for me - although sometimes mine itches!
