Hello Everyone,
I am new to all of this and have been watching for a few months. Decided after meeting a woman who has had major success with this program it was worth looking into.
A bit about me!
A very active 37-year old mother of 4 lovely [:I], ages 10.5 to 2. CEO of Household Affairs here and dying to get back into shape.
I, like many of you, have been on and off the band wagon for years. Battled my weight all of my life, but I've been active. Was doing good until our children came along--- then it was a lot to keep up with and exercise and diet no longer helped. When I'd spend hours at the gym with no results... I finally said to heck with it after my 3rd child was born. Maintained my weight, but was miserable. I couldn't get that scale or my clothing size do anything but stay RIGHT WHERE IT WAS! Just before my 2-year old was born I did a Swiss Based exercise program while we lived overseas. That coupled with a low-carb diet, I lost 24 lbs. before I conceived him. Hormones play a lot in my weight gain I can assure you of that[}
]. Needless to say, just before moving back to the states in June, I broke my foot (5th metatarsal) and have put on 7 lbs. due to lack of exercise. That coupled with the extra 26 I put on during his pregnancy I am desperate to loose it all ONE MORE TIME before trying to have our last child. I cannot fathom getting pregnant at this weight. Because I cannot do bouncing, I have been limited in what I can do. The bone is healing-- but I am a year off from doing my normal routines.
I have so many questions and do not know where to begin. I just ordered Lady Bug, Total Workout and Awesome Legs. My questions are:
1. What is "boot camp"? Do you do it alone, or sign up in your area? May seem silly--- but I have read a lot about it, but not seen any "program" so to speak.
2. I have not seen anything coming to Arizona. Is there anything in the area to do with T-Tapp other than the one person I have met who is a tapper here?
3. Is there an acronym chart to know what everything means when people use them or abbreviations?
All in all-- any advice, any tips and all your love and support will be much appreciated. I've always done my thing on my own, but for the 1st time in my life--- I need more than myself.
Thanks in advance!
Shern

Welcome to t-tapp. This is exactly what you are looking for! A bootcamp is something you do at home with your dvd (or the book) you do it it anywhere from 4 days to 14 days in a row to kickstart your workouts. I don't have the answers to your other questions but I'm sure that someone has the abbreviations bookmarked and can help you out there. Welcome! You will find the forums a wealth of knowledge!

Stephanie Olsen is a trainer in Arizona: http://www.t-tapp.com/trainers/stephanieolsen/
Also, Michelle Martinez is a trainer in training in Tucson. I think she'll be done pretty soon and I'm sure she'd love to hear from you if you live near there.
I'll send her to this thread.

Welcome!! Whatever you do DO the instructionals first, even instructional #1 on it's own will help you get results. Do them until you can predict what Teresa says, you will get your results quicker if you stick to the instructionals for a while!
The ladybug work out is an advanced workout and you will not be needing that one for a while
The forums here are awesome so if you have any questions there is always someone here to help!

Wow--- Thank you so much for the help! I got the acronyms from Kirsten and have joined Habit Formers.
My stuff should be here in a few days--- I look forward to starting boot camp and will get it going again!
Promise to start with instructionals and ask questions. I told my husband last night that this mix is what my body has been begging for for years.
Thanks again for everything--- Will keep you posted and have contacted the people recommended. We're in Phoenix, so Stephanie might be my link.
Have a great weekend. I'll post again when I get my materials and head down the road to getting my body back.
All the best-
Sharon

I have tried getting hold of Stephanie Olsen to no avail. I emailed her from her email through trainers, but have not heard from her. Any help would be great.
An update--
I got my DVD's and have had NO time to begin the workouts yet-- Today was my first day of boot camp and WOW!!! This stuff is GREAT. Mary Alice (meherbani) has started up too and is seeing results from just workouts and no diet changes. I started the diet, but didn't have the workouts until today. Will post again to let you know my progress. I am also doing HABIT FORMERS.... Kirsten is great and it is great to see the progress everyone is making.
LATER THAT DAY......
Well... My first workout was AWESOME! Every bone in my neck, back, chest cavity and head cracked as I began Instructional #1. Amazing. I have been fit, but bulked up doing weights and I am a classic short torso, so I built a great big "ROLL" that I am certain after today, will go away. I am very tired tonight and will sleep well.
I'll keep you posted, but I am having the same reaction as Mary Alice--- just in one day. I would recommend going back to the instructionals for form. Teresa's tips on form are great and really gave me a boost. I have a hard time with some of them because I have 1 inch between my hip and lower rib! YIKES!!!! It will all come together though I am sure.
All the best-
Love this stuff!

Shern, looks like you've gotten all the questions answered pretty well. Good for you to have such a great attitude going into it. You will do great!
I can commiserate with you on the broken bones and lack of exercise. 4 years ago I broke a kneecap. They screwed and wired it back together, but I was off my feet completely for six weeks, then in rehab for a couple months. And just as I was beginning to be able to walk without a cane, I fell and re-broke the kneecap plus my ankle. Another six weeks with no weight-bearing, plus months of rehab. You can't imagine how depressed I was.
I really didn't gain much too weight during all that, but I was so stinkin' WEAK!!! It was a good two years before I didn't notice that leg being tired every time I climbed stairs. T-Tapp has made a [u]huge </u>difference! I just realized the other day that I can't tell much difference at all between the two sides of hoedowns and balance. I used to dread standing on my left leg. I definitely had been babying it without realizing it until T-Tapp.
Btw, I haven't dieted at ALL during my T-Tapp journey. Just recently I cut way back on sweets, but otherwise I eat pretty mcuh all i want, and I have lost a good 25 lb. in about 6 months. T-Tapp works!
