Default mag oil help w/ arthritis??

I might have already asked this, I can't remember, lol - I know I've been meaning to! anywho..does soaking in the mag oil help w/ arthritis? if not, what would be some natural ways to help with this? My mom has it really bad - so much so that she's going to a specialist. She's on a whole slew of meds for different things.

    thanks in advance!

    Kathy,

I can't and don't want to imagine living without my MO or my Herbal Calcium or my Joint Formula. Recently, I was at a baby shower and walked up and down the steps 3X and when I was in Safety Harbor for trainer certs I kept walking up and down the steps in the room where we worked out. I am a new person. If your mom in interested in a personal discussion you can email me and I'll give you my phone number or if she likes I will call her. Naturally, I would also suggest that she call and talk to Joan. You know Joan only makes suggestions and does not push. Your mom would have to be willing to change her mind set from drugs to natural herbal remedies.

Here's to GOOD CHOICES and GOOD HEALTH for your mom!

    ((((HUGS))))

Crystal - the Joint formula is one that is recommended for RA - Calcium is recommended for everything! But here is information that might be useful NOW - and is free!! yeah for free!

Poor elimination causes rheumatism due to toxic matter becoming stagnated in various parts of the body. Thomas Deschauer explains it thus: "Urea should be daily expelled from our body, an ounce every day. Urea, as you might know, is completely changed waste matter, and as such easily expelled. Now if the process of turning the dead tissues into urea is incomplete--it forms uric acid. Certain foods and drinks cause the urea to be left unfinished. or if the urea is hindered or stopped to be expelled, it also returns into the system and forms uric acid. This can be done by stopping perspiration, by cooling off quickly, by neglect of proper bathing, changing of underclothing, inhaling urea at night while sleeping in ill-ventilated room, etc. Avoid all these things if you want to get well. Some persons have what is known as the uric acid habit, that is, the waste matter does not break down completely. This tendency is due to an extremely abnormal and diseased condition of the blood."

Elimination, elimination, blah, blah once the colon is clear, concentration on the liver & gall bladder, kidneys, then the blood. Do not ever do a blood cleanse if the colon is not moving multiple times a day. Blood cleansers are very effective and if the colon is blocked, the liver will not clear, and there is no place for the toxins from the blood to go - and you to could get very ill.

Okay, this is a topic I do know a little something about (though I've got nothing on Joan, for sure!). Anyway, one tried and true solution that my husband and I have tried is eating 1-2 apples with a large glass of organic whole milk in the morning (and nothing else). Sounds bizarre, but we read about this solution in "The Bio-Chemical Machine," and it actually worked!

Secondly, the product Calorad, though used primarily as a weightloss product, actually has proven to be a powerful reliever of arthritis symptoms. It is simply bovine collagen, which studies have proven can reduce or eliminate the inflammation in joints that causes arthritis. I've used it for years--best remedy ever!

Also, since 25% of people who suffer from celiac disease have arthritis, you might have your mom tested for celiac. Removing gluten from the diet eliminates the arthritis symptoms for people who are sensitive to gluten. However, even though 1% of the population has celiac, up to 30% have gluten sensitivity, and there is no test for gluten sensitivity at this time. Therefore, if all else fails, your mom might try going gluten free for a while to see if there is an improvement in her symptoms.

Lastly, in this week's (or perhaps, by now, it is last week's) issue of Women's World magazine, there is a brief article on how to relieve arthritis through accupressure. Because it began raining this week, I had a little arthritic pain in my hands. I used the accupressure treatment (rubbing my palm horizontally across the middle in a straight line), and, oddly enough, the pain disappeared. The article mentioned that a study showed that nearly 100% of people suffering from arthritis had their symptoms disappear with this particular accupressure technique. That's a huge percentage! Anyway, your mom might try this method first--couldn't hurt!

I agree with Laura on the accupressure points - this applies to any tender spot on the body, work it out and the corresponding area generally will clear quickly!

thanks so much ladies! I knew I could count on ya'll! I sent her a link to this topic so hopefully she'll want to try one of the things mentioned. My only concern is like I said, she's on different meds for some other things and I wouldn't want her to take something or do anything that would react badly with what shes taking.

    thanks again!
