    Hi,

    Welcome to October HD challenge -October 2-10

    Hope everyone had a great week of HDs

    Any ah-ha moments??
    Any new health benefits discovered?
    Just thrilled to have completed one week of doing HD daily??
    Did you not complete the week?? That’s okay, each day is a new beginning, start over today!!!

    Idea for this week
    In honor of those who could not go to Safety Harbor… and maybe envy of those who are there….
    This week we are going to do double the number of HDs we did last week
    If you were at Safety Harbor, you would be doing multiple workouts…. So let us create a little SH at home… Now do not forget the pampering…ALSO part of this week challenge is to do something that pampers yourself…. Rub your feet with your favorite lotion, relax for 20 minutes (set the timer), Slice cold cucumbers and place on your eyes and face, Dip a washcloth in hot lemon juice a give your self a mini steam facial, put used tea bags in the frig and then place on your eyes ….. the ideas are endless

    What is the HD challenge for OCT? Doing how frequently a day. I already do HD throughout the day, but are their any guidance. Thanks

    What a great idea, DrW! Last week was more hit and miss than I would have liked.

    So, I'm trying for 2 a day this week! Let's see.....a salt bath with grapefruit extract in it....

    NanaRo,
    This is a thread where we commit to do HD daily. WELCOME! Each week there is a form tip related to HDs... this week we are increasing the number of HDs we are doing and adding a treat for ourselves.

    I had an "a-ha"---really kind of a "why didn't I get this before?" duh moment!

    I have turned back those thumbs to the back wall pretty much since I started HDs. Of course, I got better at it over these past months. (Thanks, Dr W for all your tips!) Even went to the clinic and Indy and learned lots from Cheryl. But this afternoon as I was doing my second HD of the day, I thought, "I'm not feeling my lats like I think I should." So all I did was pull my elbows in close to my body, still having thumbs to back wall, and--HELLO, LATS! Now, I probably "knew" this before, but for some reason it just really kicked in. I won't be forgetting it now!

    Anxious to see over the next few weeks if this will help the "bra pudge that won't budge"!
