    Default A Neurokinetic Day!

I've read about improved neurokinetic flow, and have experienced it a little, but today was a BIG day for it!

After reading up on the forums about it, I decided this week to do my workouts slower and with less reps. Today was TWO, and it had to be broken up due to some minor crises (actually, just a normal day with 9 children, 10 goats, 2 dogs and too many cats). I didn't do it with the dvd this time, wanting to just really think about what I was doing. Tightened and tucked just as hard as I could to my max.

How do you spell s-o-r-e?! [B)] I got only the BWO portion done and had to stop, and was already sore!!! But from attending a clinic in July, I knew that was GOOD! Then did about half of the second portion of TWO. Later finished the last half (after another PBS, of course! ) I hated breaking up the second portion of TWO, but life demanded it, and I wondered if I'd missed the benefit...from the way my muscles feel, I'd say no! I got every ounce of benefit! []

I finished by doing Lani's Torso Trimmer (or Torture, as I like to call it!). I did the normal reps for that, but again, I really focused on what I was doing and feeling. My lower abs are so sore! While doing the exercises, I felt like I was starting to understand about NK flow this time!

Even during Balance (which is NOT my favorite!), TTN, Airplanes, Arms, Torso Twist, just EVERYTHING! It was really neat!

I actually plan to do Inst. 2 on Thursday, slowly, less reps, pause button in hand!

CherCher will be so proud of me!

Thanks for sharing all your stories to inspire me!!!!

Trisch, doing things slow may really make a huge difference. Actually, I have not been practicing that for a while but when I did I spent almost twice the time as compared to the DVD length and felt waaaaaayyyyy more exhausted. I think it is really good to practice this from time to time. In my case, when I cannot attend a real clinic, this slow pace of exercising may substitute one in a way And yes, you feel real SORE[:0]

Hi Trisch! Glad to hear of your success. Going sloooower and really focusing on each move works for me too - that's when I really started losing inches. Recently I got a little frisky and started doing Tempo again but found it is still too fast for me. I need the slower pace so I can really tuck, tighten, engage...do all that good stuff to my personal max without worrying about keeping up the pace.

    Way to go!

    I hear ya Trisch,
I have been concentrating on form for about a month now. Really focusing on tuck hard and feeling every move in my butt and abs. I have to say Im scared to go to SH. I was still so sore from mon this am but decided to still do BWO & Tempo lb floor during the AL, DD and PT I wanted to scream my butt and abs were on fire. In SH Im not sure I will be able to walk by Sun. I may need a wheel chair to get to the airport [B)][:0]. I also felt my groin lymph drain on Monday. Really cool!

OOOH Kim! I'm jealous of all you going to SH! I think I would be in the same boat as you! Hey! I have my dad's electric scooter he's not using anymore....

CHERYL!!!! (Yes, I'm screaming, jumping up and down for joy!) Really? You AND DrW? ::swooning:: That's just tooooo good to be true! I'll keep my January as open as possible!

Yes, Renee, I'm from IN, home of the drastically changing weather and mosquitoes! [] It would be nice to meet you--I think I remember you posting before the last clinic--so sad I couldn't meet up with you then! I have 7 ewes and 2 rams! Too cute!

LillyDaizz/Renee--I had been thinking of getting another workout just to have variety...but I really, really think I need to stick with B/R for awhile. I might get the Ladybug POP at least--I'd love to do the Lady Bug workout, but I've read I need to know HTF first, and I'm not ready for that! (Well, my body could certainly use it, but I don't think I'm "mentally" ready for it!)

Tamra, I thought it took at least as long, even though I only did 4 reps! I probably could have slowed down even more, but it seems every time I turned around somebody "needed" me, so there were interruptions galore! Tomorrow when I do Inst. 2, I think I will lock them all outside! JK!!! I might send them all to the park, though!

I don't have the workout with Pretzel Twist, so I'm going by the Try Before You Buy section, but I even felt the NK flow with that yesterday! It just "clicked". Diva Derriere might take awhile longer.....what a killer! []

    Thanks for your support!

lol! I got on here for some inspiration before I go work out since I missed my planned early morning slot. Looks like I'll be doing it slow and maxed! Congrats on the NK flow (you can only say that here where people will understand)!
