Neck stiffness exercises
Hello,
I saw the great post for back pain.
Just wondering if there is anything for neck stiffness.
Don't know if I slept on it wrong or what.
Had done MORE instructional and really felt my lats the day before it started.
I think I definitely need to do something different for my computer as I feel a lot of tension sitting here typing. Anybody know of ergonomic (sp?) computer desks, chairs etc. Thought about putting a shelf on the wall in my kitchen so I can put my laptop on it and just post while I cook and cleanup meals.

Be sure to use linear alignment when seated at your desk. Ensure your ears are directly above your shoulders, looking straight ahead. Do shoulder rolls throughout the day to release trap tension.
Those pain exercises will work on the neck and upper back, too.

Thank you Kirsten.
I think that my desk is too high causing shoulder and neck tension because when I put my hands down lower where my elbows are directly under my shoulders, the tension is much less.
I don't like to sit my laptop on my lap much because I read somewhere that the radiation from it is bad for people. I'll figure something out.

Thank you, Tina
I was in a car accident over 20 years ago and had a severe neck sprain with soft tissue damage[B)], fortunately no bone damage. I could not even look up for months and have been troubled with neck aches and pains for years. I have done so well since starting T-Tapp. I wonder if I overworked my lats and my traps tried to compensate.
Copied the info & will review to glean from this good stuff.

Hello Carol,
My sister was run over by a fork lift --- yes a FORK LIFT ! She was at work about 10 years ago delivering paper when the accident happened. Since she was on foot, the fork lift driver did not see her behind him. Before anyone realized it he had run over her foot and half way up her leg. Hard to believe --- no broken bones ! But immense amounts of soft tissue damage. Also when she fell backward and hit a cement parkway the curvature of her neck was reversed. Today to look at her ---- you would never know that all that happened to her. One foot is a little smaller than the other , she has had knee surgery because she lost some cartilage due to her fall, and her neck ,back and shoulders sometimes really hurt. But she lives a completely normal life. Sometimes she may limp a very little bit if she's been on her feet all day. I am telling you all this because that is how we discovered T-TAPP. About 2 1/2
years ago Carolyn was searching for something to help her which would be rehabilitative and found T-TAPP. She can do it and we love it !

Hi Carol,
I was also in a car accident years ago with some damage to my neck. The workout has helped me regain more range of motion. To help decrease the tension in your neck you might want to do the Primary Back Stretch, but REALLY slowly on the head movements at the end. Additionally, the Sit Down T-Tapp exercises can be done at the desk throughout the day. Here's a free clip of Sit Down: http://www.amazon.com/Fit-Fabulous-M...e=UTF8&s=books
Also, don't hold the phone between your head and shoulder. That really kinks up the neck. You can do a few shoulder rolls throughout the day as well.
