    Default really raw honey

I recently bought a thing of really raw honey, and afterwards got sick with strep. Has this ever happened to anyone else? does anyone else use raw honey? what kind?

We use it, a local brand for local allergens. Sounds like a coincidence to me. Raw honey should kill strep not introduce it. Hope you're feeling better.

I'm with Lori. Raw honey has natural antibacterial properties. Did you eat a lot of it? It's still sugar, which will depress your immune system for hours (long enough to catch whatever bug is going around) if you eat too much of it.

I think the girls may be right ...I just read an article on bees, and their mysterious disappearance of late (there's apparently a lot less bees). Anyway the article said that honey never ever goes bad.
