I just found out I have a colon problem
Last month, I tried to increase my veggies for a couple of days and I was bloated like hell. I did not put that in mind. Due to business problems, I did not diet or take care of my diet for the full month. in the last 3 days. I increased my veggies intake to around 6cups or more. I aso add 2 apples and legumes. again I am bloated. my stomach is still but I am not constipated b/c I drink a glass of hot water with one tbs of cumin + 1 lemone before breakfast and dinner.
Granted that I have a colon problem and that I have to see a dr. but what can I do about my diet. will I eliminate the fibre and the legumes?
it sure would help if someone with a problem like mine would post a menu to serve as a guideline.
Thanks.

Sorry about your troubles.
I can't help you specifically with your diet as I am revamping my own at this time.
But I was wondering if you have tried digestive enzymes? A lot of people have trouble digesting beans and some people have trouble with the fructose in fruit.
You could eat steamed/lightly cooked veggies more often, as these are partially broken down by the cooking process.
Sulfurous foods like cabbage and broccoli can be gas producers. gluten and dairy can be problems, too--and might be the real culprits.
Hopefully someone will come along with some more specific advice. Definitely see your doctor as soon as possible.

why don't you start smaller? maybe add 1C of fresh vegie juice a day w/the enzymes available to digest what's in your system & 1 fibertox cap? then add small portions of fresh frozen heated vegies at lunch &/or dinner; perhaps increase the alfalfa to increase your vegie protein & chlorophyll; if you're soaking beans & grains overnight before slow cooking them, you'll break down the hard husks that are difficult to digest. Psyllium is a fiber you add gradually to smoothies. Also Flax Seed oil &/or gel capsules provide fiber & EFa's for healthy joints & skin.
The slower & smaller increments you begin with the easier on your system. You might add Kefir & plain yoghurt to add probiotics. Do you know what your blood type is? Often the type of good foods can make a difference in your tolerance of which are best for you. Enzymes are most often a good addition as some people, me included, don't produce enough of them for specific food groups. Some food intolerances can hinder the good things you're doing & with all the information on the boards about grains, sugar, etc., you might find something hits home.
keep movin'..the path shows up behind you...
