they've had dark chocolate M&Ms for a while now, no?? It's weird, I don't actually like them. Must be too much sugar with the chocolate.

I'm with you, Kate. It took a while for them to come to my area, I wasn't very patient, and then they were just too sweet for dark chocolate.... Disappointing....

Yep, I've tried 'em. I have to agree with Kate; it's not as good as other dark chocolate. It would be cool if they came out with a dark chocolate M&M character for me to add to my collection, though.

I think they came out in different market areas at different times.

My dh brought me some, so proud of himself to bring me a "Women like this, right?" present, and it was true, I would have picked them up myself! But for some reason I wasn't impressed - maybe it was the sweetness, as Kate and Lori thought.

Okay, you want really rich dark chocolate that's not too sweet? Go to http://fannymaecandy.com/ and try their chocolates. They are soooooo goooooood!!!!

They have the best dark chocolate I've ever tried. If you go to Wally World aka Walmart, Lindt makes some mighty nice dark chocolate, too.

    Hugs,

I grew up with Fannie Maes. We'd get the not-perfect candy because someone used to work for them and knew my parents. They tasted good, but I grew accustomed to See's in California.

Otherwise, I make my DH bring me home Trader Joe's bars when he goes on business to the West Coast, LOL. The Villar's is one of my faves too.
