Default How can I "Kick it up"?

I have been faithful since mid-Oct. Did a 4-day bootcamp and then EOD. After a month and a half I decided to take two days off and then do a 7-day bootcamp followed by EOD.

I have been faithful since. I've really upped my water intake (100 oz per day or more)and am conscious of what I eat. Very rare do I "junk up" my diet with any man-made carbs.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I've gone from 14 to 12 but would like to whittle down a bit more to feel like I'm still making progress.

I have lots and lots of tapes and was thinking that maybe I need to get my body guessing and change it up a bit. I have been doing the total work out EOD with either Begin/Rehab or Tempo. Should I switch to something else staying with EOD or should I add in more workouts? I thought you were supposed to stay with EOD until you reach your goal.

    Tapes I have include:

    BWO+ (of course)
    SATI
    Ladybug
    Tempo Intermediate
    Tempo Torso
    Tempo Lower Body
    HTF

I also have the MORE and Sit Down but don't think those are appropriate. When I do the TWO I am concentrating so hard on form I'm afraid to go any faster, which is why I sometimes go back to Basic/Rehab.

    Again, my questions are:

    1) Do I add in more workouts (on the "other" days that are something different like HTF)? or

    2) Stick with EOD but change it up with different routines?

Thanks for any tips, gals. You are all such a great inspiration and great motivators.

Why don't you try going back to the instructionals for 2 weeks? Many people have aha moments after returning to the instructionals.

I agree with Michelle. Any time you need to "kick it up" the instructionals are definitely the tapes to use. They are the best.

thank you, ladies. I think I'll do that today. I keep reading through the book, too, to see if I can find something to concentrate on tweaking.

Do you experienced gals do at least "something" every day? I'm wondering if on the off days if I should do something, even if it's just BWO+ or the Basic 4 which I remember reading about here (PBS, TTT, Balance & Thread the needle??? is that right?)

Hello! Since you have been faithful with your workouts and want to step it up, you may want to try working in another one of your T-Tapp workouts into your routine. If you are going every other day with your full workouts, try substituting one of those days (or two if you feel up to it) with Tempo Intermediate, Tempo Torso, LadyBugs or Tempo Lower Body. Mixing up a routine can really challenge the body and help you lose more inches.

I suggest playing the Tempo Intermediate, but skipping to the form tips section. You can learn the tips on how to push your form to the next level, then apply them regardless of the workout you're doing. Also, reviewing the Instructionals can help refresh your form.

DON'T DO HTF ON OFF DAYS! Your off days should be limited to a maximum of 20 minutes of T-Tapp exercise. It is not necessary for you to do something every day to get results, but if you want to do an off day routine either do:

    1. Basic Plus (15 minutes)
    2. Primary Back Stretch and a few key exercises for your target areas
    3. Primary Back Stretch and SATI

We can help you customize a routine based on your personal needs and T-Tapp library. If you'd like to do this, just call the office and we can help you. Thanks!

Casey, you are totally awesome!!!! Thank you so much, dear.

I am going to check out those forms tips on the intermediate for sure today. Since today is supposed to be an "off" day, I will some key movements (PBS, OIP/HF, Hoe Downs, DD and AL -- I think all my areas are target areas being a combo and gain everywhere, lucky me).

I will be out of town starting Friday for a week. I plan to do the total workout EOD in my hotel room in the mornings and if I just do a few key movements on the "other" day, then I have that all memorized whereas the other workouts, like SATI, I don't. So when I get back I'll start doing "Step Away" on my "other" days so I can learn that.

Thanks again, Casey. I so appreciate your willingness to help. Never even thought about calling.

You absolutely did, Casey. I did the instructionals (with a short break between) and I really sweated like a dog. Today I'm going to try the Tempo Torso then I'll be punting with BWO+ EOD while out of town and try to get the whole tempo in on my on days while out of town.

Thanks again for being such a doll!
