    Default need probiotic recommendations

Hi all, I need recommendations for a probiotic, but here's the catch. It needs to either be the same size as the alfalfa capsule or smaller, or a liquid. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

You could drink some GT Dave's Kombucha or take Megadophilus.

The megadophilus is about the same size as alfalfa.

    or...
    What about Kefir?

Garden of Life Priml Defenese is a fabulous one. It is a hair bit shorter than the alfalfa. A hard capsule shaped pill.....

I second Lori's recommendation on the Primal Defense!

    Hi!

New Chapter All Flora Vcaps are small, and pack a high probiotic punch!

    Hope that helps!

I bought mine at CVS. They were small gel caps.

Nature's Way. Good stuff and small to swallow. I've seen it at Wild Oats and you can also get it online.

Here is a recommendation from Lizzy Joy on the Colonix post - she just posted it the other day:

Today I also ordered another 6 month supply of "affordable" probiotics from www.drdavidwilliams.com (1-800-888-1415). Six boxes, with 30 beadlets each, is only $69.99 and they are so tiny that my kids can swallow them too (recommended for ages 12 and up)! [^]

    Kim,

I second the kefir recommendation. I make my own and love it straight while the kids enjoy kefir smoothies. The other probiotics may pack a punch but kefir is a round one knock out. Here is a list of typical microflora found in kefir.

Right now I am using a whole food supplement form of antibiotics from Dr. Ben Kim.

    http://www.drbenkim.com/greens.html

It isn't bad when mixed in my morning blended salad with everything else. I just know to use less spinach in my am drink since the combo of the two can be kinda overpowering.
