Default A Breakthrough Story and Reward

    Hello Everyone
    [u]The Story</u>
Back in May, I ordered my first set of dvds (total workout). Like many others, I was totally into it at first. I would come home from work & do my workout immediatley.. I flew through the instructionals, and moved onto beh/rehab after about 1 week. I then decided to enter the contest and did a 14 day boot camp. I made it through the first 2 sets of pictures & then my life got a little crazy. I had to stop tapping for a bit, and didn't even have time to think about taking pictures or measurements.. So, I have to admit, I am a contest drop out[:I]
Once things started to settle down, I told myself it was time to jump back into the water again. I slowed it down & as others have suggested, really worked on the moves & watched my form. I started doing Basic Workout Plus, about 4 times a week. Then I decided to do a 4 day boot camp (beh/rehab) starting this past Monday. I told myself it was time to stop the excuses and just do it.
This week was a crazy week at work.. I would go to work, come home, do my workout, then log back on my computer & work till 2:00-3:00 am. However I had promised myself I wasn't going to give up. (no excuses, no excuses)
Yesterday was day 4 & I woke up feeling like I had been run over by a truck (sore throat, ear ache, body aches, monthly cramps etc). I decided to work from home & it was a really stressful day. Around 5:00, I was on my way to lie down for a few minutes before starting my last workout. At 5:01 my boss called with another emergency , which pumped my adrenaline way up. So once the emergency was dealt with, I skipped the nap & did my workout instead. The more I got into it, the better I felt
I have to say that this 4 day bootcamp was so much harder than the 14 day bootcamp I did at the beginning. I think my mind and body were focusing more , and I wasn't just going through the motions.
    [u]The Reward</u>
After my workout, I did my brushing again before my shower. (I have been faithfully brushing/taking my alfalfa through the summer). I always stand in front of the mirror to make sure I can really see my problem areas (butt and outer thighs).Just as I was about to do my outer right thigh, I did a double take.Hey where did that pocket of cellulite go? I swear there is one section that is totally gone... I still have a lot more to work on, but I was thrilled!
    A very sweet reward indeed
I haven't measured yet, but I can feel my pants are looser, and I genrally feel good

I have read over and over again that watching my form, taking it slow, pressing rewind and pause are the best way to learn and get results.. but I never really thought they applied to me.. boy was I wrong. For all the other "rushers" out there, listen to the trainers and the experts... they know what they are talking about!

    Thanks for listening
    Joanna

    Joanna,

THANK YOU! It is so good to hear that you took your time going through the instructionals, they really are so much more than *teaching* you how to do the movement correctly. T-Tapp really is so much more than an inch loss workout! Glad you are feeling better!
