    Default Any horseriders doing T-Tapp???

I have been riding once or twice a week most of my life. I do not own a horse, though.
All these years of riding without proper stretching have made my inner thighs bulky, short and sore.
The Airplanes-execise feels fantastic! [8D] but Thread the Needle is so difficult (and nearly painful) for my poor rider-thighs that I really struggle with it. (I am improving though )
    Any other riders with inner-thigh-issues???
    Or other riding-related problems?
    Trine

I ride English (Dressage). Here in Denmark Western-riding is only practiced by a minority of riders, though it is becoming more and more popular in all of Europe, and I know that there are a few big shows in Germany.

I'm a rider too - dressage for basics and hoping to manage a Competitive Trail Ride or two this fall.

I have my two at home - Radly is an 18 year old Arabian and Pete is a 17 year old Miniature Horse.

I've definitely noticed a difference in my riding posture since starting T-Tapp. Also noticed that when I've had to take a few days off I'm not as unsteady when I start riding again. My only riding issue, that T-Tapp is helping with (oil wells and airplanes!), is a tight psoas muscle.

Hi! As Tina said, I'm a horse lover (and rider)... I do mostly english, but do break out the western gear every once in a while. I've got four here at home: a 19-year-old Arab, an 18-year-old 1/2 Tennessee Walker, a 14-year-old Arab, and an 11-year-old Oldenburg/TB/Appy mix. I do hunter/jumpers, though I don't get to jump much as of late. I am dabbling in dressage here and there as my youngest mare is really quite a good mover and I think she'd do well in it.

I notice a huge difference in my riding if I've been Tapping. It seems like I'm not as unsteady in the (english) saddle even if I haven't ridden in quite a while--and there is a big reduction in my lower-back fatigue. I've genetically got huge thighs, but I'm sure riding doesn't help. I am teased in my family for my "horse thighs". Hahaha.

Anyway, nice to meet you! Always love to meet other Tappers who ride--people who share two of my biggest interests!

    HUGS!

Neraddan: I think it may have been you that made me buy the T-tapp-book! [:0] (I'm a Booger-board-lurker [8)])
    sk8rgrrl: Your horses sound lovely!
The only stretching I've done regularly after riding is on the horse while cooling off, and since I started T-Tapp my range of motion has increased unbelievably! I can hardly feel a stretch in the exercises where I "before-T-tapp" felt an almost painful stretch. The difference is enormous!
I hope my inner thighs will "give in" some day!
