Oh, thank you so much! I haven't been online much 'cause I feel pretty rotten. I had the misfortune to have my shingles outbreak right in the area of the facial nerve, so I've got Bell's Palsy to go along with all the itching, burning, and pain! I'm over the blister stage, but there's no telling how long the rest of this will go on. I've been barely managing to do PBS and some arm pumps to try to move lymph and getting some help from my acupuncturist.

In fact, my husband is coming home from work early and we're going into town to pick up a couple supplements to hopefully help me finally kick this (Garden of Life RM-10 and FYI). He offered to take my to dinner, but eating in public is not much fun with the BP (or at home either, for that matter!)

Thanks so much for the good wishes. I'm looking forward to feeling better enough to work out and catch up on the forums.

HI Moyne! Great to see you posting. So sorry to hear that you have shingles and BP. My mom had shingles horrible on her face a few years ago. Check out these previous links about shingles. There is some good info. Take care! HUGS!

Oh, Tina, thanks for the links! I printed out Teresa's posting and I'm going to take it with me. I've been doing most of the supplements recommended, but I can't get anything in the town I live in, so I was making due without some of them. But 3 weeks of this has got me FED UP, and I'm going after reinforcements!

    Thanks again!

Moyne, I am so glad to hear from you. The links provided with previous posts is great. I have a dear friend with Shingles in her eye and it has affected her nerve. It makes her itch so badly. So far, no bell's palsy.

I really feel for you Moyne and wish you a speedy recovery and to know you matter to all of us.

    Big hugs,

    pamela

    Thank you both!

I managed Teresa's recommendations for PBS, arm pumps and HD's before I brushed this morning. I'm hoping to do it twice more today to get this thing going.[)] (I'm taking so many supplements I rattle on the head rocks!)

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, Pamela. It's scary when it affects the eye because it can permanently damage vision. Fortunately, I didn't get it that close to my eye, but the BP makes it so I can't close one eyelid all the way, without an assist from my hand! What a pain! I hope it doesn't get any worse for her.
