DayBreak Lavender Farm ... the Original Rhassoul Experts!

RHASSOUL ... WHERE DOES IT COME FROM?
From deep beneath the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, comes a remarkable all natural cosmetic Rhassoul Lava Clay, an ancient health and beauty remedy! Since 700 A.D., Rhassoul has been mined and used by the people of Morocco who place high value on The Rhassoul's beautifying, healthful, healing and pacifying effects. So, the endurance of treatments as old as the Rhassoul is proof that interest in such therapies is not merely a passing trend.

RHASSOUL ... WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
The word "Rhassoul" comes from the Arabic word "ghassala" which means "to wash."

    RHASSOUL ... WHAT IS IT?
Rhassoul is rare and unprocessed natural clay free of preservatives and rich in natural minerals. Rhassoul is a smectite clay. All clays draw out oils, toxins, impurities and excess body and hormonal wastes. But only smectite BOTH draw out AND deposit. In Rhassoul's case, it deposits a rich cache of minerals that the body may be low in or not produce. It is this re-mineralization that makes Rhassoul so remarkable.

    RHASSOUL ... MICRONIZED? NON MICRONIZED???
Rhassoul comes out of the mines in rock form. It is then ground in two grit sizes. Micronized Rhassoul is the finest powder and is most often used for facial masks. Non-micronized Rhassoul is slightly larger grit size and has more exfoliating ability. DayBreak's Original Rhassoul Complexion Polish is a blend of the two.

RHASSOUL ... WHAT IS IN IT?
In Morocco, there is a jar of Rhassoul in most households. Highly valued by women for their family's hair and skin care. Rhassoul is high in Silica, Magnesium, Iron, Calcium, Potassium and Sodium content, making it surely one of the finest natural treasures for cleansing and conditioning the complexion, hair, scalp and body.. It is no surprise then, that Rhassoul is also used by Moroccan women medicinally during pregnancy because of its high mineral content.

RHASSOUL ... WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
If you are seeking a natural therapy that will help to maintain and preserve youthfulness, counter the aging process and balance the oil level of the skin, control breakouts at any age, refine skin texture and restore a glow to dull, dry skin ... Rhassoul clay is what you are looking for.
    # Rhassoul might also be what your entire family is looking for.
    # Rhassoul will brighten Mom's mature, dry skin.
    # Rhassoul will control a teenagers breakouts and oiliness.
    # Rhassoul will ease Dad's ingrown hair's ... and
    # Rhassoul will help manage the surprise of Adult Acne.

According to scientific studies, Rhassoul clay's most impressive properties in skin improvement are its capacity of absorption (drawing out oils, toxins, exfoliating dead dry surface skin cells) and adsorption (depositing Rhassoul's rich minerals) due to its high level of ions exchange. In the U.S., clinical studies have been conducted by International Research Services Inc. (www.irsi.org) and Structure Probe Inc. (www.2spi.com) to evaluate Rhassoul on skin condition. The study results showed Rhassoul measurably ...
    # Reduces dryness (79%)
    # Reduces flakiness (41%)
    # Improves skin clarity (68%)
    # Improves skin elasticity / firmness (24%)
    # Improves skin texture (106%)
    # Removes surface oil and oil from inside and around blackheads, whiteheads and breakouts ranging from mild to severe.
    # Removes dead skin layers, resulting in a general smoothing of the surface skin
    # In addition to the oil removal characteristics, Rhassoul smoothes and improves dry skin due to gentle exfoliation and re-mineralization.

It's a soap, you use as often as needed. I use mine about 3-4 times a week. You can buy in a fabulous set

I prefer prairie oat mint to the almond cream.

    Mary Ann,

T-Tapp alone worked on my cellulite (plus clean eating[:I])

Brushing helps to circulate the lymph and exercise the skin, among other wonderful benifits, which is a huge benifit for reducing celulite.

I've not heard that Rassoul is related to reducing cellulite before but I love the way it makes my skin glow.

DayBreak makes no claims that Rhassoul is effective against cellulite. There are some people who use the Rhassoul loofah which is wonderful in the shower for exfoliation and skin stimulation. There is also a Rhassoul twinset which is a combination of Rhassoul and Prairie Oat Mint in one big bar. That's also very stimulating and exfoliating for the body.

The Kombu De-Tox spa bar does not contain Rhassoul, but is a combination of 2 layers, one containing sea salt which is used to exfoliate and stimulate, and the other is a marvelous combination of seaweeds, kelp and chorella which draw impurities out of the skin. Some people have said this is good for cellulite.

Thank you all for your responses. Now I have a better idea of what it is. Basically it makes your skin glow - on your face too? I have extremely sensitive skin on my face, should I not use it there.
