Sweeteners
Hi everybody,
it's been a very long time since I posted, and I came back today to find some information about sweeteners. I know that there is an essay or post around somewhere about why and how sweeteners make you fat because they raise our levels of... something... that is meant either to take care of sugar of store fat.... and since there is no sugar, ot stores fat... I think??? As you can see I have forgotten all the vital details and I can't seem to find the info. I needed to pass the information along to someone and I would like to get it right.
Could somebody help?
Thank you!

From what I have raad (and I have done a lot of research into this) the one thing you want to avoid at all costs is aspartame. It is a toxin and yes, it will cause you to gain weight, not lose it. Splenda is a little better than aspartame, but from what I remember, it still will not help you lose weight. The best thing to use is Stevia. You can find it mostly in your local health food store, but I've seen it in some of the grocery stores also. It comes in packets (like sugar packets) or in liquid form. It is all natural, and even diabetics can use this sweetener without causing a spike in blood sugar. You can do a search on stevia and find out more info than I'm able to tell you.
