Default Looking for GM cheap meal ideas

I'm wanting to start eating GM but am looking for some cheap and easy ideas. I really don't like to cook or even meal plan but of course do it to feed my family. Crock pot recipes would be great, too. I've seen the long list of lots of recipes which is great, but am looking for ideas that are good, cheap, quick and kids like them, too. Am I asking too much?! LOL

P.S. Although I don't post very often, this isn't my first post, for some reason I had to reregister because it didn't recognize my original username and password.

Soups are great to make in the crockpot. You could make chili or veggie soup. YUM!!

There is a cook book out called Fix it and Forget it Lightly. About 98% of the slow cooker meals are GM. The book was put together by Phyllis Pellman Good. Some great stuff in here.

    Sarah,
My favorite quickie non-cook book is Raw Foods for Busy People. Most of the recipes take 10 minutes or less to prepare and they are not expensive to make and they usually last several days. I usually take one day for food preparation and make several different things in about 2 hours' time and eat on it all week. Also, if you have fresh veggies all cut and ready, you can make some wonderful dips - I always have guacamole on hand and hummus. Also, snacking on garbanzo beans out of a can is a super easy snack, as well as a little almond butter on celery or manna bread, although almond butter is a bit pricey!!! Kids usually like these as well.
