Default can't find the post about bone structure

i know someone posted a link to where you could measure your wrist and something else to figure out if you're large boned, etc....

????? anyone? and also, how do you figure out what a good "goal" would be... like i may want to be a 4, (i don't) but how would i know if that's even possible? i know it's probably a combo of body type and frame size, but i don't know how to figure that out.

    thank ya, ladies!!!

You'd need to call the office, Jen. I remember the post that asked the poster for different measurements, but how it was actually calculated wasn't listed.

I found some old threads on it........you can sure read 'em, but in every one, the trainers suggest calling the office.

It was called your set point.......but again, something to call the office about, I would think. You're on the road to the right place right now, jen.....tappin' and eatin' well. Keep doing what you're doing, chica, and you'll get to where you want to go.

And as to how to figure your goal size.....I'd shoot for 1-2 sizes below where you are now and get there. You can always rethink it at each size. I mean, why fret about a size that's 4 sizes away, when it's hard enough to lose the one right down from where you are now?

Sure, I'd like to be a 10, but I'm not there yet, not even close, so I'm just worrying about losing the size that I am now. That's my goal. And that will change when I lose my size.

I don't know. I don't want to discourage someone from wanting to be smaller, heck, most of us want to be, but I think just working on the one that you're trying to get out of now is a good plan. Or the one right after that one.

Thinking too far ahead though, is too daunting for me. Then the whole journey become enormous and I get overwraught. So, baby steps, I'm just worrying about the two sizes under me.

That's my take on it at any rate.

    Hi Ladies,

Here's a calculation website that I use... I find it useful. You can find out your 'frame' size among other useful calculations.

yep, that was the one, thank you, shannon!

and thank you for the links, too, ginger.... i'm actually not really asking for myself. i am indeed aiming just for the next size down, and so on and so forth...[] i was asking for someone who wants to be a certain "weight" , and i thought it would be helpful for her to have an idea if that was even realistic, you know? tho i did encourage her to think in terms of size, NOT weight, right?

thanks for the encouragement, too, ging... you're the best. and yes! i am on the road now, aren't i?!?
