I need a kick in the "but"...
Hey all... I need a kick in the "but"... "I'd like to workout today but..." "I was going to do T-Tapp after work but..." "I would do HD and TTN during lunch but..."
I'm going to be maid-of-honor at my best friend's wedding on May 14th and have my own "wedding extravaganza" (as my fiance calls it!!) coming up on 9/2/05.
I'm part of the 12 weeks to a new you on General Discussion board...but I need to get into a more disciplined routine. I did a 14 day BC at the end of Jan/beg of Feb and saw great results...but since then, I haven't been able to get into a set routine so I can continue my results.
Help!!
Many thanks, Tanya

Need someone to keep accountable too? I'll help you of you want???!!!LOL!!! let me know!!
waiting to hear,
Sheryl

You can do it!!!
I have been feeling the same way lately. Here's what helps me. Take a few minutes and phsyche yourself up. I like to "trick" myself and think of Tapping as something wonderful, relaxing and good for me instead of something really hard. Like as if I'm going to a day spa or something. It is my one time for ME! Close the door let the hubby take the kids (if you have any) and have this be a special 'you time'. Take some deep breaths and relax before you start the workout. I like to have my eyes closed at least for pbs and really focus on how my body feels, the muscles contracting etc.
Good luck! You CAN DO IT!!

Thanks gals!
I check in on 12 weeks everyday but I need some structure to my weekly workout, so it's great to be accountable here too!
My pics are all up on my Blog.... http://otow.blogspot.com
I need to update the pics (I just got my digital camera back from my fiance) and the measurements, but it's a start.
Josie, thanks for the mental tips too! I'm going to try hard to mentally psych myself up with all the positives!
I did do Tempo Arms this morning for the first time. Yowza!

Hey Tanya, this place is a great place for structure. I peeked at your blog, and saw a model blitz mentioned. Maybe you're burning the candle to much. Try not to do too much and take the stealth approach of doing at least :15 a day. If you do :15 and feel you can do more that day, then do more. Listen to your body, sometimes it needs rest and sometimes it needs pushed.
Welcome to HF~!

Tanya,
One of the ways I keep myself motivated is to give myself little rewards along the way to achiving my goal. Every 10 times I tapp I get to do something for myself. I actually put it all on paper and posted it on my bathtroom mirror to remind myself of what I can get. For example 10 tapps = manicure and pedicure 20 tapps = scapbook money 30 tapps = new pants, etc. Make them things you would like to indulge yourself on and you might just get a little bit of the extra motivation you need
