Is trans fats listed on the labels under something else?
And does anyone have a good substitute for jelly/jam for peanut butter & jelly sandwiches? (my 5 yr old LOVES pb&j.) so I'd like to find something thats better for him.
Also, I need some creative ways to get more fruits & veggies into him -and if he doesn't realize it thats probably even better. He'll eat bananas & apples w/ peanut butter, and he'll eat broccoli & spinnach (smothered in ketchup & we pretty much have to bribe him to eat it). So if anyone has any fail proof recipes (do they exist??) please let me know!!
Also, I was thinking of making smoothies -what would be the healthiest way to make these? I know this way I could get more of a variety of fruit into him, maybe even some veggies too! He's very reluctant to try new things, therefore he automaticly "doesn't like them". Did I mention he was picky? lol
Thanks in advance to anyone & everyone!
Kathy
