Hi all. Well, first of all, a little background. I started T-tapp in Nov 2001, did it consistently for about 8 months and saw no results other than some cuts in my legs. I lost no lbs and lost maybe 1/4" in those 8 months. Needless to say I got very discouraged. I e-mailed the office asking for help, and the response I got was also quite discouraging--basically, "really tuck and pay attention to KLT, and call us again next month if that doesn't help." So when the next month I still hadn't seen progress, and we went on the road in a 34 ft travel trailer, I quit T-tapping.

Fast forward 1 1/2 years (!!). We've gotten off the road, moved to Arizona, bought a house, etc. I decided I wanted to stop gaining and start losing so i went back to T-tapp. I've been tapping for 2 months now, started with a 4-day bc and am now on EOD. On off days I usually do the BW (no HD), and some sort of other activity, whether that's Pilates or running or whatever.

I thought I'd lost in my waist because my pants were snug instead of tight last month, but now they're right back where they were so I'm thinking that was just monthly fluctuation. I really push myself at every workout and am not only DRIPPING sweat, but also physically exhausted by the end. I tuck HARD, keep tummy tight, KLT, outside edge of the feet, arms up, etc. DH checks my form and as far as he can tell from watching the instructionals, it's okay. And still, NO RESULTS.

I'm getting SO frustrated again, cause I don't want to put in another 8 months and see nothing but some cuts on my legs with no inch changes.

I have not seen any clinics in Phoenix, and even if their were, believe me when I say we could NOT afford any at this time. I have the Instr, Beg/Reh, Tempo, Interm, and HTF tapes. Buying more tapes is not an option, especially when I'm not seeing results with the ones I have.

All right, there was my vent. And yes, I have read form tips over and over, and please no "are you REALLY tucking and REALLY keeping KLT and whole body tight?" because yes, I am.

So now to the measuring part. I didn't measure this time around because I'm never sure if I'm doing it right. However, going by how my clothes feel isn't showing me anything because they feel the same, so I decided I'm going to measure and see if MAYBE I'm getting some results this time.

So, I've still got the sheet that says where to measure, and I'm going to have hubby do it so hopefully it will be more consistent than when I do it. But do you let everything hang out when you measure? Do you tighten everything? Do you suck in tummy or just tighten or are you supposed to be relaxed (I know it's supposed to be KLT).

Can I PLEASE have some encouragement?

Thanks

Marjorie

The trouble with being an optimist is that people think you don't know what's going on.
