I know, what does one have to do with the other?! That is my question!

Ok, so Im a freak. I'm okay with that.

After DD1 was born, my four bottom front teeth went totally crooked after 10 years of being perfectly straight after braces.

After DD2, nothing else seemed to have moved. Then about 3 days ago, my left second to last molar suddenly decided to go crooked! Literally! All of a sudden, I feel like I have some hard candy stuck to the bottom of this tooth. It's sharp and scraping the side of my mouth and just generally irritating. I knew I hadnt eaten anything that would have stuck there, and I wondered if a filling had come partially out or something.

DH looks in there today and says, "Wife, for whatever reason, your molar is now sideways and crooked".

Why does this happen to me? Does it happen to anyone else?

My theory is the relaxin from joints spreading in labor, because I have a foot issue (bunions) and for about the last 2 months of pregnancy and for most of the baby's first year, my foot hurts a lot in that area, and after about the 9 month or year mark, the pain is not as strong.

There is nothing new in the way I swallow or whatever with my tongue, never has been, since I got my braces off. I wondered about the bottom front teeth and perhaps the way I swallow, but now that this random molar has moved, I think it's just wacky.

Do I get braces again? Do I get a retainer on top and bottom after childbirth?

How cruel is that, dealing with braces and retainers and having pretty teeth for 10 yrs, and now every time I have a baby, they move?!

Any theories here?
