AOL and VH1 - Music Behind Bars
I don't know if anyone else will be as angry about this as I am, but I wanted to make sure the information got out there for you to make your own decision.
VH1 is doing a series called "Music Behind Bars" in which they are giving national attention to convicted killers. These prisoners get to perform on VH1 and get all of that national exposure.
One man that was featured in this series was convicted of beating and burning a 14-month old baby to death. Not only did VH1 give this person air time, they also allowed him to LIE about what he had done to be imprisoned in the first place.
Bill O'Reilly of Fox News has done several stories about this outrage, and as a result, most of the corporate sponsors have dropped out of the show. Not AOL/Time Warner, however - according to O'Reilly, AOL is now the sole sponsor of this show. I personally think that this is an outrage...and just wanted to let you all know.
