This may be a little petty and possibly anal,<img src=icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle> but I'm going to put this up anyway for ideas from the crafty types out there.

So here's my situation...I just spent way too much money on a 3-wick candle that an office friend was selling. She's trying to get a little side thing going for herself, and I know that if I give her my dented candle to return, she's going to be stuck paying for shipping out of her own pocket. I don't want to do this to her because she's my friend and I don't want her to spend her own money on something that is probably fixable... (I hope!)

Now that I have this annoying dent on the top of the candle, what do I do? I'm thinking that until my candle burns down to a point where I might be able to coax that dent into place, I'm sort of stuck. Could I possibly use a blow dryer to push the wax into position? I would use a lighter, but I'm afraid it will leave soot marks on my otherwise white candle.

What do you guys think??
