I grew up in Alabama with a mom who was always dieting. I maintained a size 3/4 all through high school by always keeping calories below 1000 a day, but then went to college and felt free to eat. Gained about 10 pounds a year until I reached about 180. Then the babies came. After my first son, I worked out and did WW and got down to 160, but then got pregnant again. Next pregnancy I worked out again and got down to 168 after baby, but got pregnant withing a year so quit dieting. After my 3rd son I weighed 220. The next 8 years saw me diet and gain until I reached 269 (every year there were huge fluctuations) Dieting left me feeling deprived, and also moving out of state meant more long trips back to see family-something about traveling would always leave me with weight gain. Now I am eating the "Nourishing Traditions" way and feeling so much better than I have in years. I started T-tapp Aug 2, 2011 and so far have so much more energy! I love the way hoe downs make me feel.
