  • KLT Again please

    I am once again giving t-tapp a try because it makes so much sense to me (previously I didn't have the kind of results reported by everyone else and usually gave up). Anyway... I was reading some of the tips I printed out several years ago. One of the articles stated the importance of KLT and it raised some questions for me. When Theresa says "push out the knees" does she mean litterly to push them out, meaning pushing the knee-joints sideways or does she mean, twisting the entire thighbone so that the knee points outwards? Hope someone responds to this as soon as possible so that I can do it correctly when I t-tapp this morning.

      KLT again

      Unfortunately, it still doesn't answer my question which is: do I push out from the knee joint or twist the thigh bone? Sorry to be a slow learner but in view of what I read yesterday on the importance of doing KLT properly, I want to be absolutely sure.

        In the beginning, you press the knees to KLT as you gain NK connections, strength and flexibility you tuck and twist form the hip bone to achieve KLT

          Hi Looking 4ward
          KLT,,, Is, POINTING Knee Towards Little Toe. So, once you have completed going through the T-Tapp stance set up instructions, the last thing you do is KLT >>> Point >>> Knee to Little Toe. As stated by Michelle, its a sligth twisting action from the hip bone to direct the knee to little toe. It's not tring to flex the knee joint over little toe.

              Just make sure that your stance isn't too wide. I found that after all of these years on and off (more off) somehow my feet drifted further and further apart and I never even recognized it until I trained with Debby! Just an FYI.

                  I find that I check most every time I need to set up for a move. Heel into arch of other foot, pivot out with toes, make sure feet are parallel---there---right under hip joints!
