Let's NOT Lead This Pack!

A recent story on NPR was an interview with Tom Vanderbilt, a writer for Slate magazine. He said something that made me stop in my tracks! "Americans now walk the least of any industrialized nation in the world."
That's a terrible thing for us to lead the pack on! He attributes part of the problem to how we design our towns and cities -- it is far more convenient to travel by car and sometimes it's downright dangerous to be a pedestrian. This is something we definitely need to put more attention to as individuals and as communities.
Walking is so natural for us and when you use my secrets in Step Away The Inches you not only get somewhere, you get there tightened and toned. Vanderbilt also shared a quote from philosopher Soren Kierkegaard, who said, "I've walked myself into my best thoughts." Isn't that the truth! Walking definitely clears out the cobwebs...and it blasts away the blues! If we're friends on Facebook, maybe you saw this new approach on my wall -- lol!
If you're getting ready for shorts season and already walking, you might want to add our target pop dvd which includes Awesome Legs -- you can do while you're watching TV, lying in bed getting ready to start your day, or at the end of the day in your office with the door closed. You can also print out a copy of my article featuring Awesome Legs here.
If you've already got Awesome Legs mastered -- here's a little perk up for you to build even greater neuro-kinetic connection: Instead of just pointing and flexing feet during this efficient and effective exercise, try doing one set using "half flex" (aka: barbie toes) and then one with full flex with "jazz toes"...you should FEEL a BIG DIFFERENCE, as well as SEE faster results too!
