High Powered Nutrition When You're On The Go

Some days are just crazy! I find that too often time flies by and suddenly it's late afternoon and I'm HUNGRY -- NOW! It would be so easy to reach for crunchy junk food but that
doesn't supply the kind of real nutrition that satisfies my hunger; it also totally messes with my God Made/Man Made method of eating. I'm always on the lookout for macro
nutritional options. During the 20th century we learned to really focus on micronutrients -- separating out individual nutrients; but now we are starting to realize that it's how these micronutrients work together that supports our bodies. Real, God Made food is an example of macro nutrients; the nutrients are there, they work together, and they are in perfect balance meaning there's not an overabundance of one or another so that the food is harmful. But, when you're on the run it's hard to have good macro nutrients at your fingertips unless you're very organized and your life is fairly predictable.

ID:	3402I'm so excited to share my new find with you all! Raw Power is a perfectly balanced base food that you can do all kinds of things with -- bake it, freeze it, blend it, stir it! The company uses a wide variety of protein bases (egg, rice, pumpkin seed, whey etc.) and then provides it in nine different flavors. My two personal favorites are Ginger Cinnamon with a whey base and Chocolate Brownie using pumpkin seed protein base. I simply mix 2 or 3 tablespoons with a little bit of water, unsweetened almond milk or plain yogurt in a cup for a great mid-afternoon snack or meal to boost my energy and -- bonus -- it's improved my skin tone. I saw a difference within a week! (I was still doing my regular dry brushing once a day first thing in the morning.) My friend Lisa puts a quarter cup of her favorite (Peanut Butter with a pumpkin seed protein base) into the food processor with a cup of Greek yogurt, two mashed bananas, a cup of shredded carrots, and a cup of almond butter. Once it's blended she makes little nugget balls and freezes them -- all without cooking so it stays raw. She said she's going to grate some high cacao chocolate over the next batch, but I can attest that they are yummy as is! And remember pumpkin seed is especially good for men and prostate health, so it's a great treat for guys too.

Raw Power is small company. They are just starting to get distribution into stores but you can order from their web site. The product was originally developed by a local physician, Dr. Bach, to help his patients. He's taken on a new partner who is helping him market and package the product but you may need to be patient with their web site --we all have to start somewhere! Visit them at www.Superfoodmix.com to find out more and to order direct. The pumpkin seed protein products aren't in their shopping cart yet, but if you call them you can order it. Also, don't be put off by the price -- a little goes a looooong way!
