Our Presenters This Year Were Adorable, Wonderful, Informative, and Surprising!

Many of you have met Venus from our past retreats. I’m happy to tell you she is CANCER-FREE!!!! She’s also finished writing her book, The Journey of My Bodacious TaTas – Saved by Grace and On a Budget! As always, Venus has so much wit and wisdom when she speaks about her journey back to health. She had us crying tears of joy and laughter!

Brent Hardgrave was over-the-top fun! Brent is a hair magician that uses little tweaks and trims to enhance your look with your hair. During his presentation, he transformed our own Jennifer and Tiffany on stage with his amazing scissor wizardry and dry cutting technique….all with jokes and observations that had us laughing until our sides hurt!

Molly and Cynthia from Livi Rae are The Bra Ladies and let me tell you, you’ve never learned so much about boobies! They are also a delightful comedy team that took away every bit of shyness about breasts and their health with their southern charm. By the end of their night, we’d all found out that in the US we do bras ALL WRONG! I even found out that what I thought were my baby B’s were actually up in a D!! As the weekend progressed, everyone got a chance to get “measured up” and it’s amazing – when you have the right sized bra on, you stand up straighter! Ribs come up naturally when you’re well supported!

Many of you know Kirsten Tucker as a T-Tapp Trainer and one of our mentors for trainers in training, but she’s also a connoisseur of chocolate! Kirsten gave us a great training session on how chocolate is made, what it tastes like in its early stages, and what some great chocolate companies are producing in the chocolate world of fair trade, organic, and down-right unadulterated CHOCOLATE! If you have questions about T-Tapp or chocolate or T-Tapping with chocolate – Kirsten is your girl!

It all started with an apple when the Green Smoothie Queen took the stage; a beautiful Pink Lady organic apple. Tera Warner (the Green Smoothie Queen’s real name) was full of energy and fun as we talked about the joys of organic vegetables, mindful eating, taking time for pleasure, and smoothie living. Tera’s vibrancy is addictive! She made smoothies for everyone and even the hotel staff was begging for a taste.

Long-time T-Tappers know that our Premium Blended Alfalfa is something special and every time Monsanto tries to infect all the crops with their GMO version, I get mad and nervous. I was so happy when I met Kim Bright because she is as meticulous about her product Sweet Wheat as I am about our Alfalfa. (Check out our special combo-pack offer.) But Kim is also a lot like me – we’ve lived almost parallel lives! We were both in the fashion industry, we both were on Wall Street, we’ve worn evening gowns on Friday and overalls on Saturday, and we are both in business to help people be the best and healthiest they can be. We also share Cherokee heritage! Kim shared with us her life journey and her passion…and we talked a little bit about Sweet Wheat and Sweet Kid too.

T-Tapp Trainer Jane Babcock called me when I was in Portland and said, “You have to meet Dr. Maka’Ala!” and amazingly everything lined up so that we could meet – and I knew you all would want to meet him too! Maka’Ala was born in Kona, HI, he was taught the shamanic traditions of his culture, and he has become one of the leading proponents for indigenous approaches to health in the South Pacific. His massage technique, which he taught us the basics of, is used in many high-end spas around the country and his healing abilities are sought after by many celebrities. Maka’Ala’s aloha spirit had us all on a high and he even had us chanting in Hawai’ian!

Our speakers ran the gamut of emotions but they were all so generous about sharing their wisdom, their experiences, and their life’s journey with everyone so that we could all benefit and learn more. This is always my goal at our events; I want everyone to have a chance to learning something new along with all the T-Tapp insider tips I share. You can stay up to date on the inspiration and projects each of our speakers has ongoing by friending them over on Facebook too.
