Many of you know T-Tapper Shelly Ballestero (author of Beauty By God www.shellyballestero.com) from past retreats and newsletters. Shelly is the one who finally convinced me that some of my cosmetics really do have anexpiration date! Shelly is a delight and has done a lot to educate all of us about what goes on our skin and scalp. Many of you may also have met Shelly’s husband and two sons – they are all adorable. Shelly and Angelo’s son, Angelo Jr., with those cute freckles and gorgeous red hair was recently diagnosed with bone cancer. While it’s still early to know just what’s going on, as you can imagine it’s brought their world to a screeching halt.

This year our Raffles for Research program at Beauty Boot Camp and the subsequent events at which we’ll be doing raffles will all be dedicated to Angelo Jr. and all the money we raise will go to Shelly and Angelo Sr. to help offset the huge medical costs of dealing with Angelo Jr.’s health challenge. You can also use our T-Tapp Angel Network on our web site if you want to send them a gift and we’re happy to forward cards and letters to the family.

Angelo Jr. is a very bright and spritely spirit and we are focusing on surrounding him with support and positive thoughts. It's easy to forget what's important and this lesson in Angelo's life is affecting many, many people. Join me in sending the whole family love; especially at this special time of the year.
