ID:	2934I'm pretty busy over on Facebook as well as here on our forums. I recently posted a story about the danger of microwaved water and many people called foul. However I stand by my post. Here's why. For years, I talked about my gut instinct that cellphones are dangerous to our health. And for years, people called foul and cited all kinds of studies and research that said just the contrary. I still stuck to my guns because I just knew in my gut that putting a cellphone to your head for long periods of time (and really, who of us just talks for a second!) or setting your cellphone in your lap would have implications because it disturbs the electrical patterns that are natural to our bodies. Now, we are getting study results that show that cellphones are dangerous for your health. Surprised? I'm not!

Before you think I've gone off the edge, I'd like to explain a bit more. We know that our bodies carry electro-magnetic charges, it's what keeps our heart beating! I also know that some people just send off a vibe that is wonderful to be around while others are just grumpy and I want to steer clear of them without them ever saying a word. I've recently been to an amazing acupuncturist and I also understand that this thousands of years old tradition of health care is based on the electro-magnetic flow of our body.

But more importantly, I just finished reading Ann Louise Gittleman's book called Zapped. You probably haven't seen it or heard of it; this is a book that many industries don't want you to read and Ann has had a lot of trouble getting any publicity for this really important book. Ann Louise points out that microwaves use the same high frequency energy as cellphone towers. The government sets allowable standards for frequency leakages from microwaves, but the acceptable levels of the government standards are, in the opinion of many industry experts, way too high. So first and foremost, always position yourself at least one foot from your microwave; and remember if it's on top of the cabinets, it's at brain level.Click image for larger version.

But radio frequency interruptions is only half the story! Microwaves quickly cook food by increasing the vibration of the water within foods (which in turn generates internal energy and heat.) This is actually very violent vibration which has been demonstrated to lower the nutritional value of foods cooked in the mic. Further, the electromagnetic fields (EMFs) created by any electrical frequency appear to create stress responses in the body that we don't always recognize. High stress increases our stress hormone production, suppresses our immune systems, increases heart rate and blood pressure.

Now maybe you can see my point. Water is so important to our health and altering its natural energy doesn't seem to me to be a good thing at all. I think you'll enjoy Ann Louise's book but in the meantime, heat up that hot water on your stove top.
