I'm assuming this can be used for this type of info! I posted this on my blog this morning and wanted to share it with all of you T-Tappers!

Blessings!

Have you ever went on a "treasure hunt" through your T-Tapp workout DVD's? You might be surprised how much valuable information is there that you have missed. Here's just a few ways to look for nuggets of treasure that may be a new idea for you.

Listen to the Audio

You may or may not have the audio version of "Beginner Rehab," but you can just listen to your DVD. Pop it in your computer and play it in windows media, don't watch, just listen. I remember the first time I had to do this...I had not be T-Tapping long and my computer, which is my only TV, was broken. I was committed to doing my workouts and rediscovering that smaller me. I had not been T-Tapping very long but I pop the audio version in my CD player and started working away. There were several moves that were challenging to remember, but it helped me gain a deeper understanding of what was happening during the workout!

Just Watch

Don't do it, just watch it. Sit down, get a bowl of popcorn, and watch. You'll be amazed at how many visual cues Teresa gives with her body. It's not all verbal. The visual demonstration will quite possibly give you a number of "a-ha" moments!

Take Notes

Another time try taking notes while watching. Pretend that you have to take a test on T-Tapp form. You will need to know why, when, and how about each move. Take notes on anything that stands out to you. File these notes in a notebook and re-read them from time to time. I still learn things from notes I took years ago.

Try Verbalizing It

Now this is the most tricky part. They say that you don't really know something until you can explain it to someone else. If you need to teach your dog, so be it. But do try verbalizing a move or two and see what you remember. Or even just help a friend who is starting out with T-Tapp...trying to explain something to another person really helps you clarify your own understanding, believe me, I know! I have to change my words and quickly think of ways to get people to understand different aspects of T-Tapp all the time. I love it!

So there you have it! My top 4 ways to find treasure and form tips in your T-Tapp workout. Pick one and do it today. Let me know how you do!

I have just started T-Tapping, Basic 15 minute workout. I love it. I found what you shared very true. I have just the book on my nook and find myself going through many times. Each time I find more info/insight. I do want to get the DVD and feel this will help me even more.

I have just begun T-tapping and sometimes it makes sense to me, sometimes doesn't. I'm going to sit down and watch it as you suggested. I think that will help me "get it." Anyway, I've already lost 5 inches in the past 10 days doing the best I could.

Very good post, Kayla! I have just begun "reading" the dvds and I must say, I have gleaned A LOT from doing it!! Best advice I could give is to do just that!
